Very informative, even if it was very hard to follow the content due to the way the speaker talks. all those random pauses between the words make it very tricky to understand what it's being said, we had to rewind the video several times to properly get the content.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. Is there a way to determine the type of noise cancellation technology used in a specific headphone just by looking at it or via visual inspection?? Rather than reading its manual to understand its features. Thanks in advance!

In some headphones, visually you can find the microphone on the outer side. But from that it is difficult to judge, which technology is used for the noise cancellation. Because it can be either feed-forward or hybrid (As, internal microphone is not visible). So, it's better to refer the manual for more details.

Thank you. Is there also a way of canceling low frequency noise like the high energy bass of a car boom box? To me it seems that is much more of a challenge than high frequency noise.

Using the feedback ANC, the low-frequency noise can be canceled to the certain extent. I have provided more detail about it in the description of the video also. You might find it helpful.

Minute 2:42 you explain, why the feed-forward technique works for cancelling out high frequency, by saying that ´´the mike is outside the ear, so it picks up the sound early on and has more time to react and generate the anti-noise.´´ Do higher frequencys take longer vor building a anti-noise for them? your explanation about this would clear my mind. thank u

What I mean to say was, at higher frequencies the time available for the noise cancellation reduces. as f = 1/T. So, in feed-forward technique if the sound is picked up early then there is more time to respond and to generate the anti-noise. I hope it will clear your doubt. If you still have any doubt then please let me know here.

Does Feedback NC with the microphone near the ear also remove audio "coloring" of the driver? Since it compares with the original input audio it might be the case.
