Shomu's Biology

Күн бұрын

This membrane transport video lecture explains about the properties and mechanism behind active transport. At the transport is a process of membrane transport by the molecules move through the cell membrane against their concentration gradient and they require energy for the molecules against the concentration gradient. ATP serves as the energy source in the process of active transport across the membrane. This video lecture will explain different mechanism behind active transport. One such example of active transport mechanism is a sodium potassium pump mediated transport of sodium and potassium ions.

Sir u have defined uniport wrongly by mistake Actually in uniport single molecule move across the membrane. Overall lecture was helpful to me. Thankx.

i'm sorry, but he is right . IT is about different molecules moving across the membrane at the same direction . It's not for one molecule type....is more about the direction of the molecules(different molecules not just one type) movement through the protein channel

thanks for the lecture i really understand. but i think in the uniport its one molecule moving in same direction. while antiport and symport are co-transport because it involve two molecules moving in either same direction or in opposite direction.
