Do you know how you can check (within an automation) whether a custom field is empty or not? You used to be able to select If custom field is greater than... and then leave the field empty and that did the trick, but that's not possible anymore.

Hey Max. Great Video. I just dont know how to add different values in my custom fields. So I also want to segment my leads with custom fields, for example one field is biggest struggle, but where do I add the values? So for example "struggle with weight loss" and "struggle with working out". I need to add these somewhere to the custom fields right? Otherwise I cannot chose it for the conditional content etc. Thanks a lot for the help.

Hey Fabian! Yes, you will have to populate those custom fields somehow. You can do it manually in a contact's profile, but you probably want to automate this. How you automate it depends on how you capture this information; are you going to use a survey on a website, do you ask them to click a link, etc? If you use a survey, you'll have to map this to those custom fields somehow. I'm for example using RightMessage to create a little onboarding survey after people opt-in for one of my downloads, and those answers automatically get stored into my segmentation custom fields. Hopefully that gives some ideas! Feel free to ask any other specific questions 🙃

Is there a way to insert Google click ID, GCLID, into a hidden field of AC? That is need to track offline conversions. I suppose it is also interesting not only for Google Ads, but also FAcebook offline conversions.

Hey Thomas! Yes, this is possible, but it's a bit techy. You can add hidden custom fields for each of those things, and then you can use a script to get those parameters out of the URL & push them into the hidden fields. I haven't done this for a while, so I don't remember exactly how to do it, but I know that it's possible.
