@@maxvcollenburg Ja dat klopt, dat snap ik inderdaad. Wat ik wil is dat ik via een systeem een met een webhook een proefaccount aanmaken en op deze manier toegang wil geven aan leads. Mijn leadmagnet is dus niet persee een download, maar een proefaccount waarbij ze op een community omgeving kunnen. Omdat een webhook volgens een soort van link is dacht ik, wellicht dat het gewoon in een echt geschreven e-mail kan worden geplaatst de url van de webhoo. En niet persee in het format van het maken van de e-mail in Active campagin. Of heeft de webhook dan niet de functie die het moet hebben als het in een geschreven e-mail staat?

Webhooks worden gebruikt om data van punt A naar punt B te versturen, die zou ik niet in de email zelf gebruiken. Ik weet niet wat voor membership software je gebruikt, maar meestal trigger je een webhook in je automatie & sla je de login gegevens op in een custom field die je vervolgens via een e-mail stuurt naar je contacten 🙃

Hi Max! How does one start the automation from an updated contact? I want someone to be able to download multiple resources that get sent to them every time. So, to trigger an automation from an updated contact vs. subscribes to master list? Or probably both? Also, they should not get a welcome email every time they download a resource. Little confused around setting that up. Thanks for your help and fantastic videos!! Ps. I use zapier to connect webflow forms to AC

Hey Pier! Great question! You could store the name of the download inside a "Latest Download" custom field, and then you could trigger the automation when that custom field changes. If you're one the Plus plan or above, you could also use that custom field to personalize your emails with conditional content based on which download they requested. That way, you can just use 1 automation & 1 email for all your downloads. Inside my own email, in which I deliver the download, I have a few conditional sentences to welcome people onto the list. These sentences will only show if the "[Status] New on main list" tag exists, which gets added with a separate automation when someone joins the list for the first time & deleted after 10 minutes. Hope that helps you into the right direction! 😄

Hey Kodi! It's quite easy 😄 You create a new email inside your automation > click 'create new email' > then you get a new page, and at the top you'll find 'past campaigns' > select your past campaign (which basically makes a clone of it) > change the subject > save & exit Hope that helps! 🙃

Hey Kelly! It depends a bit on what kind of download it is. But inside the email, I always link to that resource: - If it's a PDF, I upload the PDF and link to that file directly. - If it's a Google Sheet, I share the public link to it. - If it's a template for something, I share the link to that template. I would not attach the lead magnet as an attachment, as this often triggers spam filters if it's from an unknown sender. Plus, adding links will help you to track who actually clicks the link to download the lead magnet. Hope that helps! 🤗
