Thank you so much for this video. I had some blood test done last year. The doctor never called me to tell me the results since I can see them myself in an app. When I got my results I checked the hemoglobin levels, they were fine. But after watching this video an hour ago I took a second look at the CBC and I found that my MCHC are extremelly low, outside of a normal range, which indicates that I have anemia. For over a year I have been dealing with extreme fatigue, weakness, dizziness, sensitivity to cold temperature, and of course, the change in hair texture. On top of that depression since I am studying Computer Science and most of the times I found myself with no energy to study, no matter how much I sleep. I would have never taken a second look at my results without watching your video. Thank you again.

I've been going through it for a while too.... First I thought it was just my iron because I am anemic, but my body just wasn't super responsive to the iron. I continued to suffer with fatigue and shortness of breath daily. Turns out it's my adrenals which can lead to a thyroid issue. I'm not the biggest fan of medication (and there isn't one for adrenal fatigue) so I'm trying my hardest to heal myself with foods..... It's a constant battle. So happy for you!!!!!

WOW, girl I just saw your video about your texture changing and I kid you not, it was ME 2 years ago!!! My products that I had been using for 9 years completely stopped working. Fast forward to now/ today and my hair is FINALLY BACK to its natural thickness and tighter curls. Yesterday I cut the last bit of the damaged hair and my hair is at the shortest it’s ever been (barely touching my shoulders). I feel soooooo HAPPY that my Fuller, Thicker and Tighter curls are BACK 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. I just now need to “train it” to accept those old products again.

Omg just found your original post about this today because I was trying to figure out why the top of my hair is straight while the rest is curly. I couldn’t figure out if i was styling it wrong, or if my hair just isn’t as curly as i think it is. But after watching it i remembered that i also am anemic and have been ignoring this fact for years. I had no idea that it could ruin your curls 😔. I’m going to go to the doctor and get this dealt with!! Thank you for sharing your story! It has been very helpful. Your hair looks beautiful now!

Oh thank you so much for your video! Around this time last year I also found out I was low in my iron levels to the point it was almost 0. The iron tablets didn’t work so I had the iron transfusion. Although my recent blood checks are at a good level now, I’ve noticed that in my past few months I’ve lost at lot of my curl definitions. It was very gradual and I have been telling myself it’s hair product or just need a good cut. It’s really only your last video on this topic as well this one that your hair have gone back to its normal beautiful state. This made me realised that it’s most likely what has happened to my hair! This video gave me hope as when I saw your last video I didn’t realise that it took you 2 years! Also this made me recall that after having my daughter over 5 years ago, my hair changed dramatically from thick and 2b-3a to thin and 1a 😂 it too almost 2 years to go back to normal! So thank you 🙏 amazing how our hair triggers on things that goes on with our insides.

Thank you so much for your transparency. I have had low iron for a long time and have been stubborn in taking my iron pills. Now I know why my hair is shedding so much and it looks stringy. It's because of my low iron. My low iron levels are critical my doctor is always telling me to make sure I take my iron pills. Just last year in 2021 I had to have an iron fusion and even a blood transfusion because my iron was so low, It was like a 3😳. Thank you so much for this encouragement I will now start everyday taking my iron pills daily PS, I'm going to try the ones you have been using because like you I don't like orange juice.

I'm really bad at taking my iron but when my doctor told me that it can cause organ failure I started taking it more regularly. 😅 I'm a little embarrassed to say it had more to do with my hair falling out.

i want to start by saying, i do not eat well. i’ve struggled for years off and on with an eating disorder and subconsciously adapted to very minimal eating. when i was 13-18 my hair was straight as ever. 18-19 my hair started becoming really curly and healthy. (this is once i started eating better). i still had excessive thinning, especially where my bangs are. i got my curly hair back maybe a year ago? now i’ve noticed it’s gone. i don’t eat well at all. i eat one or two little snacks a day and call it good. my hair falls out excessively, to the extent i thought i was balding. i’m gonna try iron vitamins and adjusting my intake. i’m nervous this won’t work. but i’m desperate for my beautiful hair

Wow .... I assumed my hair changed because of heat damage. I do have issues with iron to. My hair was falling out in clumps. It already sheds extra because of my scalp psoriasis but the amount of hair falling out was definitely alarming. My hair was falling out excessively from my roots and breaking on the shaft at the same time. I’m taking a daily vitamin and a prenatal vitamin (I’m not pregnant.) hopefully these will help me in my transitioning. Thank you for this video.

This is happening to me, I was horrified when I realized that my hair was growing wavy, I have 3b-3c type hair and I've been searching everywhere what could be the matter with my hair, thank u so much, I'm serious, i was so depressed cause I think that it was my fault because I dye my hair recently but the problem was that the roots we're wavy too, im going to visit a doctor cause I haven't noticed that I've been weak and I'm sure is this iron thing. Sorry if you can't understand my comment very well, I'm from Mexico, thank u so much!!!!

You know what I had very long hair (up to my butt)... Back to summer 2017 I had a lot of stress and didn't ate that much like I used too so I lost more and more hair so my friend who's a hairstylist cut my hair to a long Bob but I still lost my hair. Before Christmas it was no way back and we had to cut my hair almost as short as a pixie haircut then I made a strong hair cure after two weeks the hair falling stopped so after one and a half year (my hair grows fast) I had beautiful hair over my shoulder (that was 2019 summer) they were curly and healthy and also I ate normaly with everything my body needed... Now few months later (2020 spring) my hair was getting thicker and heavier and the curl were more and more kinda wavy so I took more the heaviness out but there came no curls...(i started to make curls with a iron because of my job) so I thought maybe they were too damaged so I cut them off again more short... So right now I got short hair... And the curls never came back.... And I am eating healthier then ever and my life is fine... So now I don't know what can I do I did a lot but nothing :/
