This was an extraordinary tutorial. I have been using Aquity Scheduling for about 2 months now and i love it. I use it to manage the rental use of my rooms in a creative studio and to give guitar lessons. Sometimes though i rent the space for things like baby showers and intimate parties. I cant figure out how to require a deposit that i can later refund or credit to the cost of the room rental. i see deposits as an add on but i don't see how to make them refundable upon full payment or make them part of the payment and then just charge the residual on event day. Thanks again, regardless of whether or not you know how to help me i am still thankful for your tutorial.

Yep, I've been booking 30 min calls through acuity and they're SO great. Converts to the timezone, auto zoom link, 24 hr reminder, etc. Hey! You should get on a quick with me (no pressure! 😉) . Hi Ashley, thank you for this info, very helpful. Could I ask your advise regarding how to set a class so that people cant interrupt it once started (come late) or can you allow them a lets say 5 minute window after the actual start time . I cant seem to figure this one out. Thank you Terry

I have it set that everyone sits in the "waiting room" until I let them in. Then you have the option to disable and enable the waiting room. You can also "lock the meeting" if you don't have the waiting room on, so that new people can't join from a certain time. I also mute everyone before starting. They are able to unmute themselves, but you can also disable that, too. It's all options in Zoom.

Yes! 100% Acuity has direct scheduling links so you direct people to those rather than a separate website. It’ll probably be easier this way anyway.

Yes, you would just use the Acuity links. I think my site was/is ashesyoga.as.me (yup, just tested it). You can also have clients get the Acuity Scheduling client app. You'll want to get the Acuity user app. I don't use Acuity anymore, but it hasn't changed much since I started using it in 2016.

I've been googling and can't find this out... I have a class that occurs M-F at the same time. I want people to be able to become members and get unlimited access to those class, but right now the only option I see is for them to have to go in every week and select every class that they want to attend and add themselves to each one. Do you know of a way that they could automatically have access to all the classes if they have a membership. So sorry for the long question and thank you in advance for the help!

For acuity, I actually do not know. I don’t use acuity anymore and haven’t for a year. I know on OfferingTree, what I use now, this will be an option soon for members. My members currently have to sign up every day, but it’s actually a lot faster than the old acuity process. No one has complained yet.

I think you'd have to do that separately, or email them afterwards with the replay link. I'm not really sure. I haven't done this. Acuity has a FB support group that can help. I joined long after I made this video. There are some very helpful people in it.

They could register 6 times. But I also think there is a setting to allow multiple spots at once for group classes. I’ll check on this.

I just checked. On the workshop I’m selling right now, there is a place that says “quantity” and the customer can choose how many spots they want to buy. So, YES, it is possible. It’s very easy, actually.

Leave them feedback? The best way to do this would be through email individually, I would think. Or while on Zoom? I've actually moved to OfferingTree instead of Acuity and I'm really liking it. They're always updating and getting better, whereas Acuity hasn't changed really at all in the 5 years I've been with them. If you want to give it a try, I have a 50% off the first three months at offeringtree.com/ashes. It might have what you need. And Acuity might work fine, too.

Yes, you can actually change the language of the appointment page. You can sign up for the free version and play with it before you start charging or accepting payments. You can accept payments through Stripe, Square, and/or Paypal.

Good stuff, I'm looking for scheduling a class that when it reaches a certain number the price goes down automatically. It would also be cool if when it reached a certain about of people it could ask if they want to switch to 2 hour workshop. I deal with kids so, comorodry kicks in when there's a group. It would also fall under daycare.

This, I do not know. The Scheduling softwares I’ve used don’t have this function. Maybe you need a 3rd party tool. An “if this then that” type of thing.

Hi Ashley. I have two questions I hope that you will help me with. One, when I checked to see if the purchase format worked I signed-up for one of my courses. On my bank page, it showed that I had paid spiritual teacher instead of the name of my business. How do I change that for my clients? Spiritual teacher sounds dubious when my business name is supposed to be showing-up. Second question. I notice that squarespace has teamed up with acuity but how does that work when embedding a link onto a website? My daughter set it set-up before but now I don't know how to work it. Please help!!

I don't use Acuity Scheduling anymore since I've switched to OfferingTree. You might have more luck with the Acuity Scheduling FB group or Squarespace/Acuity support tickets through email with the bank statement question. Look in all your settings for where that might be showing up. For the second question, you can still use Acuity Scheduling as it's own platform and embed on any website that you want. It does not have to be attached to a squarespace site.

@@templegoddessjourneys The main deciding factor for me was the donation and tiered pricing option for individual classes. Acuity doesn't offer that. I lead a 6am morning Zoom yoga class and I want it to be free or pay-what-you-want style. OfferingTree lets me do that. Pls don't try to sell yoga as a product for earning money. That's not why ppl should come to you. They should come learn yoga for their wellbeing, mental physical and emotional, not so that they make dollars out of learning from you. That's not what yoga is.
