Imagine not living in the rust belt and having it be this easy to get the bolts off 😂. I work at a performance shop and 95% of the cars that come in the nuts and bolt heads aren’t even recognizable from rust especially the god damn Hondas and these j pipes

You didn't take off the 3rd cat. There's no sensor on that 3rd spot it won't throw an alarm if you take out the 3rd cat plus you get better flow . J pipe is meant for better flow makes no sense to leave the 3rd cat on there.

Stock j pipe is very scrunched together and restrictive. Having a long tubed j pipe that removes the third cat (all in one pipe) - loses low end which these cars lack. Putting a test pipe with our j pipe would yield better results naturally over keeping the third cat

Mina Bekhit I personally Like it better because the shorter pipe rather than the larger one is better for low end torque, where these cars Lack. These pipes also tuck higher, so are lowered car friendly.

If you really want to notice a difference in power get a jpipe that deletes the third cat

I’m currently running my 4th gen TL with no cats, no mufflers but with 3 resonators. It has a low and deep rumble with no high pitch noise. I noticed that I can also hear some faint crackles and pops when I let off and down shift, do you think this j pipe will help with making the pops louder?

I would assume yes a bit because the stock one is very scrunched and restrictive. Allowing better air low would bring out the tone a bit more.

We haven't tried that yet. I think it may as our 04-08 TL does fit the 03-07 v6.

If you are going precat's then yes. If not, dont need to and would be a waste. Most go test pipe or long tubed.

BattlefrontZero bolts come with precats, as they’re normally attached. The stock third cat has the bolts as well attached. It comes with the crush’ gaskets, but all else is reused.

The biggest gain for a J pipe replacement would be HP/TORQUE. Catback / precats change the sound the most. Stock J pipe is very scrunched together and very restrictive.
