Acura RSX valve cover gasket

Heavily edited, I have to take so many breaks just to complete something I’m doing on the car. So I just record what I can.
The coil pack cover is already painted silver and looks so good. And this VHT wrinkle paint is a shade orange or something.. doesn’t look like the dark original Red finish from Honda, but looks so nice still

Thanks man! You should definitely do it! Only thing that sucks is the VHT paint takes sooo long to dry, it’s a much different paint than we are used to, but besides that it makes the engine bay look sharp

@2:00 you just lift the intake manifold cover off. I find after I take out the 2 screws, there is some delicate plastic retainers keeping it secured. I dont want to "wail on the it" for fear of breaking something. How do you do that without it breaking?

Agreed with those spark plug seals being awful to get out. Also, did you replace the vtec solenoid gasket? That one's known to be a leaker too. Mine was completely flattened.

Yeah those seals are baked in there lol it’s an awesome design compared to the older d/b/h/f series 🙏 and I have the solenoid gasket, but there is no way I can lean forward for that long enough time before I’m in extreme pain, I even have a header that I can’t install either it’s so far and tucked behind the engine 😣😅

@@IntegraDIY Since replacing that solenoid gasket can be done completely from the top, it's not necessary to jack up the front of the car. But I did because it does help a lot with the leaning over.
