Just wondering is the radiator fan supposed to spin when the car is at idle? The fan doesn’t spin too when I put on ac. I was wondering if that’s why my car isn’t blowing cold air no more?

My A/C stopped working when my nav drive crapped out on me and I had to pay $600 to get it replaced. Yes, I got ripped off. I specifically told them that I needed to get it replaced bc my a/c won’t turn on and I couldn’t press the a/c bc it was only able to be manually turned on via the nav display. Once I got it back and they replaced the drive I tried to access the a/c and it was still blowing out hot air. He said that has nothing to do with the drive and I told him that was the whole reason I got his replaced!! He said it was probably low on Freon and that was a cheap fix. He explained to me how to do it so I went and got the Freon and used KZbin tutorial to t try and see if that was the problem. It isn’t. Now I am thinking it is a fuse. Going to try and see if this will fix it. I just want a new car at this point. I’m so done.

Switched out the A/C relay that is located under hood. Watched another KZbin video that helped me solve this issue. I don’t know what I’d do without KZbin. It’s now working and I didn’t have to spend anymore money. So happy now!

@@jac0320 probably all late but you could still turn the Ac on using the buttons. no need for screen. Just hit auto button and press the lower buttons to adjust temp. no need for screen. as for it still blowimg warm air it was probably one of your ac condenser/ compressor. or a ac relay or fuse

@@Mane_ea I’m pretty sure I was only able to access the temp control through the touch nav. I recall having to hit the a/c button but the actual temp control was all In the touch screen. Idk. I did end up getting a new car bc the power steering went up not soon after. It was time to for me to let her go.

Might be low on freon if so there is a low pressure freon switch that will open the clutch circuit on the compressor so it will not be damaged by low or no freon. Hope this helps.

My cooling fan in front of the radiator and my ac compressor.both don’t turn on. I have an ‘04 tsx and while driving I heard a pop and a hissing noise and smelled Freon. I can’t find a leak anywhere. Is it possibly my ac compressor that’s went out?

Hey sir how doing , I pulled a 7.5 fuse while car still running now the top and bottom screen stop working blank like the car not on . It’s a 2015 Acura tlx and yes I plug it back in but nothing

Try not to pull any fuse when the car is running. You probably popped your 7.5 fuse

I have a 2004 TSX and my only issue is that the climate control system won’t turn off. If I hit the “off” button the screen would shut down but It’ll stay blowing air.

Just did my AC and my compressors is engaged even if my setting is at 85 degrees any adieas?

Does your compressor remain engaged if you remove the ac relay?

@@LehewTech the only way I can turn it off is with the off button but I'm worried if is not cycling something can go bad since it's a new system.the old compressor always cycle when reach temperature.

@@LehewTech the shop that replace my system says thats normal but all of my Honda's that I had compressor always cycle it doesn't matter how hot the temperature is.can my compressor fail if not cycling?
