My son had acute liver failure due to indeterminate cause 18 months developed cerebral Edema. He was operated in UMC Groningen Netherlands.The doctors delayed waiting for donor. I donated him to save his life consequentially he had severe cerebral damage. I do not see a clear set of guidelines when to flag the transplant as imminent after CT scan.
