It's really humorous to to watch Kent McCord and Martin Milner, as Detectives, with 'altered' personal lives. McCords character appears to be a recent widower, and Milner's character is "the happily married man". So much unlike "the avowed bachelor", Pete Malloy character, he played on "Adam-12".

They should have produced a TV series based on this movie. Nashville Beat would have been a good weekly TV series. Unfortunately they didn’t do it while Martin Milner was still alive and healthily. Kent McCord could have relocated to Nashville and joined the PD to assist them with gang activity and hooked up with the pretty airline flight attendant? Too bad they didn’t use their same names they used in Adam 12 and I wonder why they didn’t keep their Adam 12 names?

Martin Milner and Kent McCord reprised their Adam-12 characters one final time in separate episodes of The New Adam-12. Peter Malloy was a Sargeant and Jim Reed was a Lieutenant. Sadly full episodes of TNA-12 are virtually non-existent here on KZbin. I don't know the legalities involved, but, maybe both shows could be bundled together and treated as a package deal.
