The look and clothes came from Malcolm McLaren and his girlfriend of the time Vivienne Westwood. They also did the styling for the New York Dolls, Bow Wow Wow and of course the Sex Pistols.

He cut association with Malcom shortly after Malcom nicked the members of the first incarnation of AATA and created Bow Wow Wow. They did supply his clothes though in his punk days.

I am spending my Saturday morning in a blissful trip down memory lane back to the 80's. Adam Ant was and remains one of my all time favourite artists, everything about him was very different and eclectic. Even now there isn't really an artist who is so instantly recognisable or has such a distinct sound at least for me. Loved this song, He always looked to be having so much fun both with the ants and as a solo artist, I hope he has found some peace after the problems he went through later, he deserves it. I haven't heard this for years but I still love it 💗 I was 14 when it was released. It was a huge part of my youth - my entire room was wall to wall with Adam Ant posters. I still own the vinyl records and a few singles.
