I am glad we have signed him. At his best, he is very good. Hopefully the five year duration means we have amortised what we would have paid him for the next two to three across the five to leave cap room for TdK's short term requirements.

I think it is great, as at his best he is an A grader and is one of our major cogs in the machine to getting and going deep into finals. He is still young and will grow and only get better in our engine room going forth👏

I like it,after the 2023 year he had I actually had him as my Norm Smith medalist,I thought he was that good,unfortunately it didn’t work out for him and the side in 2024.A fit and firing Adam Cerra and it’s a top 4 maybe even top 2 finish this year

First up mate, agree he's a talent and as you say still young, so we should be pleased with the re-signing, lengths a worry with those hamstrings but, the club must have some confidence they aren't an ongoing issue, Austens been very methodical up to now in his decisions. The club did seem to go out of their way to get rid of injury prone players end of last year so would they take a big risk now? Go Tez, Go Blues

HUGE , well he a show to be HUGE , and boy do we need him , Tim Watson was an anomaly , like playing at 15 or something crazy like that , but today's players seem to get better like a good wine , but the physicality of the game , don't help , but we need to look to our young ones , And Cez is a great signing , and Newy need to be replaced up to 2 years early , so bite the bullet . I’m sorry I’m a long time blues fan but this contract is so thoughtless from the club. 5 hammies last year alone tells a story . As good as he was in 2023 history will say he will keep doing hamstrings again and again. Every time he goes hard for the ball he tears them and we have signed him for 5 years??? Give him 2 years with trigger clause or something. #baddecisions
