As an employee of a vape store.. he nailed every single issue. I never dreamed of hearing someone mention tobacco bonds about to default. That is probably the biggest issue. The only thing he was misinformed on was that the tainted THC cartridges were not from dispensaries. They were from the black market off the street. Hell the biggest offender "Dank Vapes" could still be bought on eBay until a few months after the whole controversy.

This touches close to home for me. My mother (a long time smoker of over 50 years) switched to vaping because her breathing was horrible and her doctors told her if she didn't quit cold turkey, that she was going to be on oxygen for the rest of her life. Within a few months of her vaping, we noticed a massive change in her attitude, emotions and activity. She was doing more with the family, she was happier then anyone had seen her in years and her, and her home didn't smell like an ash tray anymore. Then they ban vaping in New York..... You won't believe the hoops we have to jump through to get vape juice for her now. We have to have the juice ordered and sent to family outside of NY and have them ship it to us, then we take it to her. They even ban the shipping of mods and vape equipment to NY all together. The tobacco companies are behind all of this. Big tobacco has their hand in the pocket of more then half of the seat in congress, maybe even more. We will continue to break their stupid fucking laws and get our mother the vape juice she needs to not go back on cigarettes. To hell with the lot of them crooked POS running this country. They don't care who dies as long as their pockets are lined.

My blood oxygen levels are almost 100%, after heavily vaping for 4 years to quit a 20 year smoking habit, they were low 90's before. Doctor couldn't even believe how well I'd come on since quitting, I could barely jog up the stairs before and now I can smell much better, I dont get sinus issues, and I can run flat out without any issues, my lungs have dramatically improved. I'm in the U.K though and only use uk pharmaceutical grade ingredients in my liquids, and I'm now down to 0.3% nicotine. I would recommend switching to vaping to any and all smokers who want to quit, I have been serious addicted to nicotine since I was 12 and it worked for me, and my lungs really are massively improved

I smoked for close to 10 years. Vaped for 2 years on 18mg heavy nicotine, then did about 6 months on 0mg. Now it's been about 6 months since I used my vape and I've started cycling 20km per day and looking at my diet. Vaping 100% helped ME. It can and does help others. The most addicting thing is the habit of putting something to your mouth. The nicotine rush after a long tough day is something I miss massively. I haven't found an alternative source of that kinda relief yet. Edit - to his point about ecigs, idk about Juul. The successful time I got myself off the cigarettes I had an Innokin thing which I could pretty much control how I wanted. Be it wattage/voltage, what I put into it, airflow etc.

Thanks for shining a different light on this than what the public has been told. Full disclosure, I am biased because I own a vape shop. But I can tell you personally I started it because I discovered vaping worked excellent for helping myslef and husband to quit a 20+ year smoking habit. We actually had a large chalkboard of people that were allowed to sign it after they had completely got off of tobacco products with the help of vaping. It was completely full within the first year we were open. Now we are on our 7th year. We vowed from day 1 that we would never be a smoke/vape shop combo because we genuinely want to help people quit smoking. We have however considered adding marijuana products should our state go legal. We also vowed to never carry any tobacco company owned vape products in our store, like Altria for example. We don't trust the tobacco industry to make our vapor products. Our industry is mostly made up of people just like me, ex-tobacco users just trying to find a harm reduction to the devasting effects of tobacco. We lost 30-40% of our sales after the corporate media hit job that ended up being black market thc products laced with vitamin e acetate. Which they have yet to make clear to the public, I have to debunk it every day to customers that come in scared to try something that is proven to be a significant harm reduction to tobacco use in countries such as the UK already. Thanks again Joe for shining a light on this, it's rare to find honesty on this topic, without feelings being inserted as facts.

I never use to vape or smoke cigarettes at all. I started, did it for two years, got hella addicted and saw my health decrease. I stopped because I felt serious problems with my breathing and heart rate. I'd wake up the next day with a sore, tight chest and I saw minutes increase on my running times, the lot. Vaping is bad for you. Better than cigs, obviously. But it's bad for you and I know from my own experiences that it is. Maybe I'm different, but as far as I'm aware, im pretty healthy. And for those wondering, I used high end vapes and liquid - Totally Wicked, to be exact. I write this in hope people don't make the same mistake I did by starting thinking this is not so bad for you - it is. People think just because tests like the cotton wool one, where the cotton doesn't change colour, compared to the cigs one, it's ok. Since when was health effect defined by colour? You're breathing in burned metal and oil, man, think about it. Our lungs are designed to inhale oxygen and that's it, anything else isn't good.

Congrats! My girlfriend quit smoking by switching to vape 2-3 years ago. It was amazing to see her breathing improve after switching over. She would usually have nightly coughing fits back when she was smoking cigarettes. After just the first or second day of vaping, she no longer had nightly coughing fits. My mother was a smoker for literally over 35 years. She tried everything to quit and nothing worked. We heard about vaping and did some research on it got her a vape pen and got her dose straight. The only chemicals you inhale when you vape correctly are propylene glycol, and nicotine unless you choose a flavoring which are made of the same artificial flavorings you likely eat every day in your natural life. Propylene glycol can cause irritation at super high doses but that's about it. Apart from that you run into the usual possiblities of sickness with inhaling water vapor but generally those are for anyone thats vulnerable to them not most people as a rule of thumb. You expose yourself to more "irritants" and "chemicals" by walking past a construction site or living in a large city with smog. Should you as a rule inhale something other than air? No. But vaping is a much healthier alternative to smoking and has probably saved lives. It's easily a gateway to not vaping at all should you choose. My mother almost doesn't vape anymore. She takes 2 or 3 puffs a day out of personal enjoyment.

It's production can be stimulated by certain things most notably certain chemicals and stimuli. When you take a drug that's stimulating recreationally you aren't ingesting dopamine you're stimulating it's natural production within the brain. As far as dopamine itself goes you won't find an argument I'll listen to there with me. I just wanna say this, I’m 22 and I have been vaping e-cigarettes (nicotine) since I was a lot younger (15) and now I have random heart pains, difficulty breathing, and other random things I have never experienced like I get nasal bleeds, even in my ears, and I recently stopped vaping and almost all of these issues have gone down tenfold, and it’s really only been a few days. I don’t care what anyone says, vapes are bad for you and I would even argue worse than cigarettes for the fact that you can do it anywhere but with cigarettes it’s a hassle (lingering smell, have to go outside). The reason people use Vitamin E for THC cartridge in vape is to thicken the e liquid, to look as if the product is thick and full of THC compounds when in fact those product are very diluted and extremely low quality. Doesn't even get you properly high. No proper manufacturer EVER puts Vitamin E into the E liquid. Those are shady f*cks that ruins the industry. I have vaped for at least more than half a decade (I'm not even one of the early ones that started vaping when the vaping scene started), not once have I ever purchased a vape juice that contains vitamin E, either THC or no THC. The proper process to produce the THC vape e liquid takes a time and effort, to filter, then extract the THC compounds either using ethanol or pure alcohol. Or to steep the juice correctly using PG. When done properly, it is 100% worth it. You will understand how much better it is to vape THC. Do your proper research on it, there are plenty of resourceful information on the internet. And if you want to purchase THC vape juice, there are plenty of proper shops to buy from. It may be slightly more expensive because it takes time and effort to make THC e juice the proper way. Please do not purchase from shady dealers/sellers/shops. When vaping is finally "legalized" and regulated, it will be very easy to identify these shady makers

This wasn't an issue early last year or years before that in legal and even not legal states. I'm in NY where it is still illegal recreationally and I used to get carts from a buddy of mine all the time without issues. I then took a break from them during the first half of last year then decided to give them a go again and it was different. The high was much weaker, shorter and the oil just hardly moved. I got a cart again and this was in December and I realized what a mistake it was and ended up having a buddy of mine who works in a lab test it for me and sure enough it came back for a decent amount of Vitamin E Acetate, pesticides and the cart itself was a knockoff CCell. My friend and I now just make our own live resin and put it in CCell carts for our own personal use and let me tell you the difference in the high was night and day. Three hits and I am good for awhile. There however is still a lot of unlicensed dispensaries in California that are selling non tested carts and I know of one individual who died because they used a black market West Coast Cure cart from an unlicensed dispensary in California.

I think they should be paying more attention to the fats and waxes from the plant matter in the live resin and Co2 cartridges, those have the potential to build up in the walls of your alveoli over extended use

For now they are all shaddy stores I am in Canada and I i can't find one reputable vape store selling THC cartridges so I don't trust any of them

@@satanicaleve ​ Mr. E ​ G 12 I do not live in the US but I have heard and read many stories of very shady practices. I think in the current climate of vaping and greens, the only best way is to buy from reputable stores, which often displays their test lab, etc. Might require you to travel a distance to get them, stock them up while you can. If not the next best way is to learn how to do it yourself. It really is not that hard, might require some time to learn but you only learn it once and you can process it anytime you want. It is far safer than buying from places you aren't sure. Most of the time, if they are not from a known source, they will have Vit E.
