Adam Grant is one of the best thinkers of our time. This is one of the best, if not the best interview I’ve heard with him.

Shocked to see so few comments and views to the point I feel motivated to comment without being lost in the deluge. As a habitual rethinker to the point of indecision, I enjoyed the discussion of when rethinking is needed but hoped for more about when rethinking is just delaying a decision or questioning something that is not currently changeable. The effort it takes to rethink seems to be a barrier for some especially if they have a very short time horizon for results. This was the most engaging discussion I've listened to for some time and the video added a useful dimension.

Great conversation! I wonder why the number of views/likes/comments do not represent the quality of this channel in any way whatsoever. This channel absolutely deserves YTs algorithms exponential reach!

I think the question about why we elect certain people has to do with believing that they know what to do, we want someone who will validate that they will take care of us.

Fully agree on the need for trust and respect to achieve psychological safety…but it is also required SELF-respect and SELF-trust (self-confidence). That is why I think that leaders should also also need to work on that area (that is I why, for instance, coaching is so important). It would be nice to see some research on this Adam! 😉

Shane, have you considered having Andrew Huberman on your podcast as a guest? He’s a neurologist who’s been very active in the podcast community and I think it could make for an interesting discussion.

Shane, Tiktok channel! Start with just that opening segments you use as your hook. "Change your mind" and own the super short form, after excelling in the long-form. Unrelated, I don't understand myself why KZbin distribution of TKP hasn't blown up more, given how successful the podcast is.
