@@Scratchgolfacademy Would love your thoughts on this: for someone who struggles with sliding in the backswing and weight getting stuck on back leg, what's a good feel to correct this? Currently working on feeling like my left knee stays over my left foot and doesnt move to the right

Adam - I’m a golf pro in Virginia, thanks for these awesome videos. Sometimes I have a student that moves their lead knee directly out towards the ball, which causes the head to drop on the way back among other issues. Do you have any drills for that type of player?

Thanks Richard. As a guess I'd say they are side-bending their spine towards the ball too much going back (head & left knee would lower in towards the ball). Perhaps general resistance in legs and a flatter shoulder turn would help? All the best, Adam

Have suffered with an ‘Elvis’ lead knee on the backswing for years. I have just tried your drill in front of a mirror and no ‘Elvis’! I hope it will transfer with a club in my hand. Thank you.

Love it! My left knee just recently started getting more active, and I got longer, but was wondering if I was taking a short cut. This video allows me to keep experimenting w it.

I have gotten knock kneed over the years (68 now). If I let my left knee move to the inside I cannot get it to move to the left at the right time--it lags behind. Lately I have tried to hold my left knee over my left foot on the backswing while getting good tension on the turn in my right hip. This seems to help me get through the ball a bit better. Would you have any other suggestions? If I toe out my left foot that makes the situation even worse and I cannot get over the left leg. Love your videos!

Thanks Becky. I have a video on the left knee in the downswing which will likely come out next week. I also have one on 'left knee in the golf swing' at this channel, there is a downswing drill there. Best, Adam

In the last month I just started pushing my Left knee out towards the Target and I'm getting lots more high piercing shots from 160 yds in come down straight and on top of the flagstick, almost holed out a 135 yd 8 iron last week for easy birdie

Hello Mr. Bazalgette, loving your videos on several levels. However, your audio's being recorded too hot, thus the unpleasant distortion on your voice. Please look into it, as this seems to be on most of your videos. i take the youtube speaker icon down to about a third of the volume, so it doesn't hurt my ears, yet even at low levels, your voice is still distorted. Thank you for all you do for all of us regarding the golf swing.

Thanks, and glad you like the videos. Strange, but it plays fine for me, and we've had no other comments along the lines you're saying? All the best, Adam

U k I like the drill. I'm rather inflexible so I think this will help with practice. Still a lot of snow in northern NH so can't get out there yet!
