Dont think they replaced him. queen and adam have said they never wanna replace freddie. However adam has said he his just filling the roll which i get. They never perform as just queen with him. It’s always queen and adam lambert. Which tells me its him working with the band not him in the band. I agree though they couldn’t have found anyone better to fill the role
