Politicians wont put up any sort of a safety net on the consumer because they too, claim a tax percentage of the cost, whether the real costing after insurance, or the fake marked up price that rips off the public sector, so in other words they misdirect where your money is going, which is essentially laundered into the government's pockets. Think of it like how gaming companies generally don't sell you items for a dollar price, you will have to buy some sort of token amount, generally for which there will be innefficient in the purchase packages to buy what you would need, not that that is relevant, but the point is the misdirection, you think your money is buying a token so that once you spend the token you forget how much each actual purchase in the game is actually worth. In this case you pay fake inflated rates for your health insurance which hospitals gouge inflated rates from to then pocket and split the difference with the government, and you'd think "well I'm not paying the inflated rates, my health insurance is". But you're paying those health insurance rates, and as you make claims, which can be for overly inflated amounts due to the hospital charging system, the rates will go up exponentially, so now you're paying even more rates with smaller gaps (direct payment to the medical centre) but generally its more expensive in the long run.

The thing is, politicians wield enormous power. So, even when problems "aren't their fault" in some ways, they're still at fault. The thing is, if it's your job to resolve social problems, then you have responsibility for that even if you didn't cause them. Of course, not all politicians have equal power, especially in political systems that enshrine great inequality within them.

Freaking Adam actually had had me in tears at the realization that everything and everyone I know will die
@StonerBaer
@StonerBaer 2 жыл бұрын
It's okay to die. It is the one truth of things in life on this planet that we can be assured of, but there is no need to fear it. The fear of the unknown is understandable, but, it doesn't make it not okay. It's okay to fear it, but I have gone through things in my personal life that have made me okay with it, as much as I do not welcome death. I don't welcome it, but I accept it. I see Death as a friend that comes to all, in the end. I am familiar with it, and I understand it, but I see no reason to fear the inevitable.

Hey, think of it this way. You finally get peace, life is just such a bumpy roller coaster of ups and downs. Everything alive will eventually end anyway, and even non-alive things will start to break apart into basic subatomic particles that are alone bouncing in an empty space.

It’s not the food drives that are bad, it’s how people do it. Stop donating unhealthy or expired food. Stuff like PB, tuna, and low-sodium canned veggies and broths are nutrient dense. If this isn’t in your pantry already, then look to see if you have coffee or tea, some food drives (not all) will accept toiletries, pet food, and or cash. Food banks sometimes take these things and also fresh food. Donate fresh whenever possible!

While I don’t agree with everything this show says, and dislike the hyper sensationalism and how far they take the hyperbole, I really am grateful for the divorce episode. As someone with divorced parents, I honestly think them separating at a young age was one of the best things to happen in my life because it gave my mother freedom to pursue medicine, gain independence and improve her mental wellbeing. Whenever my parents are together in the same room for too long, 9 times out of 10 they will dissolve into horrible arguments because those two cannot agree on anything. Its a miracle they got married in the first place. So the concept of them being legally stuck together is just terrifying to me.

milad khosravi they had a debate about transgender children having hormones, Adam didn’t have a script so he didn’t know what to say. Most of what he said was “I’m not an expert on this, but..” and “my friends have these issues..” which proved Adam isn’t really good at politics

I would like to say he kind of makes the healthcare thing out to be the fault of hospitals. Which it is but only in the sense of a hospital that is operated as a private entity. Doctors would rather give you the lifesaving care you need for a price that doesnt end your life, but insurance companies (and the politicians they lobby) are so greedy that they'd rather hurt the end consumer (you) instead of providing a service accessible to everyone that is also high quality. However, I think this is kind of a theme throughout each episode. Adam focuses his attacks towards the incorrect entity and doesn't necessarily seem to care. He mostly makes it out to be a problem of the employees/victims rather than the high ranking politicians and corporate business owners. If anything Adam should be attacking the foundational structures of American and Western society for most of the instances where he "ruins" something, but thats not as appealing of a video. In reality most of these issues stem from a massive campaign funded by multinational corporations and the people they elect to push their agenda, which has been happening since before America even started being colonized. I dont entirely know why this problem is so apparent in all of Adam's "ruin everything" videos, but it is very much something that has started to bother me. (Average leftist meme btw)

While I'm not saying there isn't a pay gap, that 64 cents to the dollar thing is false. Its based on an arbitrary graph that just averages out all the wages regardless of any factors such as sallery for the same position. If I'm not mistaken even the richest people in the world are included which makes it even worse of a metric to follow.

So the game was still branded to appeal to women after the original Pac-Man was popular with women. Adam was correct. The history of Ms. Pac-Man's development is irrelevant to that point. Replace "developers" with "publishers" and you and him are basically saying the same thing.
