At the 10:19 mark kg dropped some knowledge about the league and its younger generation. This why the nba season should stay around 82 games. The length of the season separate the legends from the cant stay forcus type of player. Do you want to celebrate the Michael, Kobe type of player or do we want to hold up players like Anthony Wiggins or the Kwame Brown of the world🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️... we must up held the Excellence of the league.
@MohamedAli-dz1yo5 жыл бұрын
I disagree. I think a shorter season, less foul calls or a different foul calling system and we will be good. The amount of injuries is bad for the game and doesnt come from physical play, it comes from being overworked. Everyone of your favorite players has lost a lot of time to injury. 70 games versus 82 isnt a big difference but might make a big difference in the longevity of players and the amount of injuries. They have to do something about foul calls, thats what ruins the game. No one wants to watch people shooting free throws every 30 seconds, it stops the flow of the game and is so boring. In terms of skill, the nba is more skilled than ever before its the soft play that stops the game and ruins the flow.
@Sam195095 жыл бұрын
@@MohamedAli-dz1yo nba is not going to reduce the length of the season unless there is a big catch. Even reducing it by one game across 30 teams is quite a bit of bank the owners and players lose out on. The recent mid-season tournament proposal the league just sent the player's union reduces the regular season to 78 games including the 8 tournament group stage games. However the teams that actually qualify for the elimination rounds of the tournament play more games with the tournament champion playing an additional 4 games to produce an 82 game season long before the actual playoffs. Basically the nba is expecting the shitty rebuilding teams who won't advance in the group stage to have their season reduced to 78 games while all the playoff bound teams play anywhere from 79-82 games including regular season and tournament.
