I am so sorry for the loss of your friend Adam. Grant seemed like a wonderful person and a joy to know. His logical and methodical approach gave him such a purity of spirit. Another Star Wars family member gone too soon.

I'm sure this will be painful and emotional to listen to, yet still looking forward to it. It's usually hard to know what kind of person one is from just watching them perform on TV. But some people shine through their TV personas, revealing their true niceness and thoughtfulness. Grant was clearly one of those wonderful human beings. As is Adam.

Many of us gather here on this video to remember Grant! RIP Grant. I was shocked to see the news to say the least! The good die young Would be an awesome tribute if the rest of the crew (Jamie, Kari and Tori and of course Adam) could come together (virtually, given these times) and remember fond moments from mythbusters or even outside of it. Though this may be too raw and personal for now. The mythbusters show definitely impacted me in terms of becoming interested in science and I am currently doing my PhD. RIP Grant. I never had a chance to meet you but I grew up watching you on my favourite TV program every weekend when I visited my dad because he had all the channels. You always inspired me and set an example for the kinds of things I could do with my life. You might be gone, unable to go to work and do what you have always done. But you will always be here on earth and wherever we as humans take you in the form of the shows you helped create, the crazy contraptions you built, and the memories you made for those around you and those who never did get the chance to meet you.

Grant kept me watching Mythbusters (he was my favourite after Adam). Mythbusters developed my love of science. Science inspired me to pursue medicine as a career. That career opened the door to the rest of my life I never forgot where it started (hence me watching Tested). Grant changed lives for the better wherever he went and whatever he did, and the world is a darker, crueller place for his passing. His family and friends are in my thoughts. Every Tool’s a Hammer is what keeps me going. It’s like the A Brief History of Time for astrophysics. The section about having to go through multiple designs helped me so much in my last project, and I ended up going through 6 different iterations before I got it right. Best book I’ve ever picked up

Grant was exactly the kind of person that this world so desperately needs many more of. Friendly, humble, smart, curious, inspiring and scientific but without losing the fun "mad scientist inner child side". Although I've never met him, I'm glad I've shared an intersection of time with him on this planet. Devastating news about Grant. Like so many here, Mythbusters inspired me to pursue creative things, try untried ideas, and always take a scientific view to everything.
