For the pieces to all fit together, Adam has to attach leather straps and brass buckles to each piece, giving the armor the ability to move with ease. And before the final fitting, Adam and Terry add some beautiful weathering to the suit!

Actually you probably can learn to create a suit of armor on youre own , theres a few sites on the subject and quite a large community for helping and learning , i used to polish a few pieces myself when i was an aprentice 18 years ago , but the shop moved and couldnt follow. But every man / woman trying a suit of armor for the first time become children once again , been there , felt it . Working with such a renown armorer is something to cherish and it goes for a lot of experienced people out there , learn from those man / woman listen to they're stories so the trades can live on

It was an absolute pleasure to watch this series. To see Adam’s child like joy but more importantly the respect for a true craftsman was heartwarming. It’s sad that these kinds of skills are dying so Adam should be commended not only for his promotion of practical science but also these types of “maker” skills in a digital age. If this has not been inspiration to make something then we are doomed.

I've seen some people say about how loud the armour is. I've worn and seen people wearing Terry's armour, and it doesn't sound at all like what it does in this video, it's just that Adam's mic is under the armour and it is enhancing the sound it makes. There are clunking sounds of course, but in my experience nowhere near as loud as it makes out to be. Also, there is a final final part, a little bonus video 😉

This made me smile more then it should have. Watching Adam run around like a 9 year old was priceless. Like him I was infatuated with everything King Arthur after see it in the movie theater with my mother. And it is the reason that I got into renfair. This has to be a dream come true for him and thanks for bringing us along to see it. What a beautiful work of art.

The best part of this series for me, is at the end. I can feel the joy of Adam as he runs around in his excalibur suit!!

I know I'm late to the party.. But.. thank you for this series, as Excalibur melted my brains when I saw it in the theater and this was a fantastic introduction to the man who for me made the best things in the movie. D.
