+Ezra Salayandia i actually reside in the shop residence beside Adam and are a big fan of the channel and have recently questioned him about the product and he said fox wasn't happy with the accommodation of the suit and took it back,so no more series will be made.

I wasn't impressed until I saw it in the dark with the light. That's how it's meant to be viewed. Shadows make it look amazing.

I do agree with some people that once out of the box it does look like something I'd get from Hobby Lobby. But when they made some closeups when Adam turned on his Fire Sword, I started to appreciate the micro-scale details that were on its surface. I salute the company who put effort into making a very nice looking model. It would look even better in a glass case with LEDS on different sides while it sits on a podium that turns slowly. Very nice.

This moon is super cool but what really made me happy is when Adam sneezed, Norm didn't say, "bless you". I love that there are people that aren't perpetuating superstitious nonsense because our society deems it "polite". Thank you, Norm.

I was 80% jealous throughout most of the unboxing... then you turned the lights off and blasted the moon globe with the fire sword.. and all the contours stood out... and then I became 150% jealous. Ugh... I want one!

A craftsman should be ashamed at allowing such an obvious seam defect in the final product. And the hosts should be ashamed by not addressing the defect in their review.

that is the cost of molding. it is inherent in the process.

That's not a defect, it's just the default of every molded product. Having no seam is an additional and can only be achieved by manually sanding every single cast, that's just unachievable for mass production.

I kinda impressed with the scallops cut in the foam insert from the box. Simple and perfect to break the vacuum, pulling that type of packing free is always a pain.

I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by the model while watching this video. That is, until you turned off the light and illuminated it with the flashlight. Then I was like "Wow! That's it! That's the moon!" :D Beautiful!

If you're gonna work on this with a ligthing system it might also be awesome so try and get the darker spots you see on the real moon painted on there. It's all one solid color now but the actual moon also has lighter and darker spot in it's surface (and I don't mean shadows). You have the skills to pull it off, you just need to make sure the placing of the darker spots is acurate (:

This is really cool but $580 is way too much for a 3D printed ball of plastic that probably cost 50 cents to manufacture. Hopefully a company sees the potential market and starts mass producing all the solar system objects for a reasonable price.

It is topography accurate, but I think you also have to paint it in such a way that it is also "colour accurate" due to the different shades and difference of reflex index between different areas to make the piece truly amazing.

In Ireland the term 'savage' means unbelievable and great. So often Il read these video titles as "Adam's​ savage moon model". And I feel that it fits all the same.

Some areas of the Moon -the so-called "seas"- have a darker albedo, and some craters feature sprayed out lighter material. I'd love to see Adam do a proper paint job on this globe to bring out more of the Moon's distinct character.

That is so cool, 3D accurate Moon globe I'm so jealous I must have one. When you guys did the lighting it really popped I can just see this globe be lit with the accurate phase for that day . VERY VERY COOL. Thanks for the video

That model would be great to use as a miniature for a film. You could pretty easily composite a ship of some kind over footage of the model that would look great!

Pretty darn cool. In conjunction with phase lighting that I presume would be stationary, you need a single light source (vertical strip of LEDs) and the Moon rotates.

Adam could gently sand out the seam, then make it a project to accurately paint the surface using NASA photos as reference. Could make a good Tested video.
