Yeah, when he was like, "I'm gonna put a screw on this part," I was all, sooooo, lathe then? Edit: nvm her just put a regular metal screw in the connection. I thought he was going to cut threads onto one of the kit pieces. Yeah the lathe wasn't even necessary, he could have done everything ion the drill press.

There are two patreons that i have enough confidence in the files of to pay for and his is one of them. Mr Savage made that print look stunning. I'm really surprised Adam doesn't use a cheap $5 "pistol grip" for spray-painting. I've always thought that was such a great investment for rattle-can painting.
@benjamindelnat94482 жыл бұрын
In theory it sounds good but for a lot of people it entirely changes the way the can handles and if you’ve got 35 years of spray painting experience without one it’s like putting a weight at the end of your pencil.
@Tron082 жыл бұрын
At this point I bet Adam's rattle can muscles could create diamonds from raw carbon.
@marksnyder22322 жыл бұрын
My thought, too. I started out with one of the cheap snap-in types, but later switched to the Rustoleum can gun, which grips the can around the neck. That is what I recommend to everyone now. It is a tool that I really think makes my painting work better and more accurate.

My cousins hubby taught Me how to paint professionally. Shaker cans should be swirled not shook. Shaking damages the ball baring and gets metal fleck in the paint and clogs the can faster. I spoke with Giger before He passed quite a bit. Also Syd Mead, in fact I did work for Mead. Great guy. Originally those evaporators were painted metallic blue silver pearlesce then dirtied with olive drab and purple after fading with sand paper and wood rub. Wood rub the part after sand paper and then add the olive drab. Those are so pretty. These models.

It's not really a compactor; it's referred to as a thumper in the novel as it's designed to send vibrations into the ground to attract a sandworm.
@SPProps2 жыл бұрын
@@OhItsAnthony the thumper is a different prop. The compactor moves sand out of the way so if you get buried or something, it’ll push the sand out of the way so you can get out.

when I first saw the sand compactor in the first dune, I thought it was just some simple tool to get out of the tents they use, and while it is a tool for that, it is so much more complicated than I had first anticipated. Clearly the Arakans made the compactor to mimic the sandworms and how they move throughout the dunes, so I figured that if you wanted to make a "working" version of the compactors, you could put a speaker inside of it to get a similar effect as the movie. That is something I so want to do if I ever get a resin printer and use the files. I want to make a Bluetooth speaker out of the compactor so that it is a "functional" sand compactor.

When you are doing these builds you really should have two cameras setup that are always filming your work area on a wider view then one cameras for your regular up close shots like you regularly film. This would make sure everything is filmed, so if something interesting happens when you don't expect it, it will still be on cameras so we can see it.

“Well done” isn’t always a compliment, but it’s the right way to describe this movie. I was hoping for something darker and edgier, but they had to get a rating that would allow kids to see it. So, not what I wanted, but well done. Although it’s not without flaws: for example, the desert doesn’t seem as dangerously hot as they say it is, which is probably why they keep saying it.
