i read up on him. he's like a teflon don. so, the story is in his father. when you read about him, it all makes sense. his father is more known for the association with the Getty family. But, his association with the Gestapo Otto von Bolschwing and the TCI company is more interesting. I might have spelled Bolschwing wrong but supposedly a paper clip cia guy who eventually they get bored off an DOJ in early 80s tries to deport after the company in the early 70s. I've always had alot of admiration for Adam. I started watching the man show when I was maybe 9 or 10. He came from a meager beginning, worked real jobs, made a fortune, and acts very humble. He's hilarious, very intellectual, and doesn't sugarcoat his points. What he says he means and follows with logical explanation. He seems like a awesome dude to sit and have a beer with. I hope to meet him someday. He creates inspiration to be a better self and you can tell he really cares about his community!

Yeah LAPD don't play around when it comes to firearms. I got drawn on too. I had a Mercedes that had inflatable bags in the seats-some kind of back support feature I never used. They kept asking me "is that a gun" and they were talking about the control for the thing. It was in between the driver seat and center console and it was sunken down. I was so used to seeing it like that that it was damn-near invisible to my eyes. I finally realized what they were talking about and said "Oh this?" and like an idiot I go to pull it up out of the crack so they can see the switches on it. They both drew on me. I am a career forest service firefighter in CA and OR and I know felons who work in fire, both the state of CA (cal fire), state of OR (ODF) and on the feds side. The guy on this clip is wrong about that.

They can under certain circumstances. Nature of the felony etc. In terms of risk hiring felons, they can be abundant. Plenty of studies show the risk are high and employers are putting those risk on employees and customers. If I hire somebody with a drug possession charge or a theft charge to be a cashier, that risk is on me. If I hire someone with a violent past to do maintenance at an apartment complex and harm comes to somebody, I'm probably gonna get sued. I know insurance companies are very unpopular, but go talk to someone who does risk assessment for them, they are loaded with information about statistics and cost analysis of what juries typically award victims. It's nice to say some people can turn their lives around but some don't.

No one buys an ''endangered shrub preservation.'' If a shrub is indeed endangered, it can be cultivated so it's no longer endangered. If some guy in a tiny country home can figure out how to preserve several heirloom tomatoes and keep them around, a fricken state department can figure out how to cultivate and smartly plant a shrub so it's around but not causing a fire risk. Placing the utilities underground is extremely expensive. In addition, which neighbors get to give up some of their parcels for the transformers and do you think that the new underground house connections as well as the new bottom entry electrical panels at each home are going to be paid for by each homeowner. Street repair, sidewalks, curb gutters, utility relocations, easements etc etc etc. Outrageously expensive. Don't forget to upsize the entire system for the GO GREEN EV shit, new fiber optic, water mains, sewer systems, natural gas mains etc. Only to attach to undersized, old and decrepit utilities upstream and downstream.
