I can't stand Robin hooding them. I had to figure out more targets before you even did this tutorial. I even added a couple stumps swinging targets. Although I like the spark it makes when you do. I saw you light a match like that. I was in total awe when you did that. So every time I do Robinhood it. I always think I wish I had match. Thanks Adam.

..in this martial art of Knife Throw, personally, I find the correlation between concentration, meditated action or meditation, which is very short, as it is functional for immediate action, and the recall and release of adrenaline very interesting in a very short time. It is an art, in my opinion also therapeutic, which involves the mind and body and trains them for immediate, albeit controlled, action. Personally, I have been practicing it for decades, like archery, Karate Do, Aiki Do, and others, and for some time now, "I have been studying" the benefits of these arts. Benefits, which therefore occur at an energetic, physical and mental level. And I conclude by underlining that in this art, as Adam also repeats, "everything is very instinctive", however, you also learn to "control" the instinct, or to use the instinct, in a controlled way. Congratulations always to Adam, who guides us with great Expertise and Mastery.Felix M

I throw mainly at cardboard boxes, like Amazon size. I fill the boxes with other cardboard, and, when possible, I cover the target with clothing (like old shirts). When available, I use a piece of leather. I probably should get a stump section like you.

Thanks Adam! How much time do you recommend practicing for at minimum to get good? I don’t expect to become a professional, but would like to develop this skill? Do you recommend softwood vs hardwood as a target? I can probably afford 30 minutes per day. Or do you figure any number of throws/attempts per day instead of time?
@turbo-the-dogАй бұрын
Definitely use a softer target and I think 20 to 30 minutes would be plenty a day. or just whenever you have time. Sorry for budding in I know you didn't ask me. 😅

One of my main issues with practicing accuracy is that my target setup is not the best. I've got good instinct aim with bows, and at close range with knives im good, but my log rounds are all about the size of a cereal bowl and I used my acejet target to death lol
@Alien96-k7pАй бұрын
I have done the balloon popped. It was windy outside to on my next throw which was total luck. I managed to hit it blowing in the wind. Didn't even think I could do it. I also tried the tab off a soda can and I am still trying that one. I throw around 14 to 15 feet away. I am going to keep trying that one and record it.
