Hi I wasn't fully aware of the extent of jojo and Rachel's relationship until this video make me do some searching, the first video I clicked on has shocked me it's called coming out to eachother jojo s1 ep4 on Rachel's podcasts channel, I feel like this needs to be made aware its really creepy and I'm not sure how you could play it off as it just being uncensored, how is she so comfortable talking about that kind of stuff like in the first few seconds of the video

Jojo is the definition of groomed as a kid. She has been in the public eye being used by the adults im her life, and now she thinks it's fine. She is way too close to see how fucked this really is. I've been talking about this elsewhere but it's important. PSA for the girls and young women out here: if you have someone much older than you around telling you how you're sooooooooo mature and all that.... You aren't. They want something from you and you need to do everything in your power to say far away from that person. This is an extremely common manipulation (g-r-o-o-m-i-n-g) technique used on young girls. It's normal that you feel alienated-the world is especially cruel to you-of course you can't wait to grow up, and that attention from older people makes you feel good... But they are not your friend, that cool older guy who flirts with you is a LOSER creep, and they are not your escape from the cruel misogyny directed at young girls and women. You're enough, protect yourself 💜

Jojo Siwa 1000000% has the ability to possibly groom other children in her adulthood. She thinks this it totally normal and that this behavior is fine and okay. This is exactly what the cycle of abuse looks like. It's sad, and part of me wants to feel sorry/bad for her, but at some point there has to be a moment when she needs to wake tf up. One particularly unsettling thing is that Jojo is now an adult and has put herself in a mentorship/teaching role with MANY young children through her dance groups. Alarming that someone who clearly has not unpacked the grooming she experienced herself, and who has such a skewed idea of boundaries and what constitutes a “normal” relationship between adults and kids, is currently in such a position of power with access to young kids herself.

Was coming to say something along these lines. I think it is important for kids to have other trusted adults in their lives that they can go to if they can't talk to their parents about something (this is especially important for lgbtq+ kids or any kid who might be in an unsafe home situation), and that can't be limited to teachers or other authority figures that the kid thinks might get them in trouble if they go there either. I get where people are coming from when they're like "No adult should be friends with a kid EVER" but I do think it can be dangerous to swing too far in that direction. Kids and adults can be friends, but a different type of friendship, like you were describing. The adult needs to know what boundaries to draw and what is and isn't appropriate to do/talk about.

she's still deep in the manipulation. it took Adam being out of the friendship to realize just how bad it was and how much he was groomed and manipulated. Jojo, right now, is still in it and thinks the "good" side Colleen is presenting to her is her real self and who knows what Colleen is telling her behind the scenes, playing the victim. plus when you're in your early 20's, you're still immature and Jojo has definitely some stunted growth due to her lifestyle. give it time and Jojo will eventually see what we all see and come to terms with it and realize Colleen has used her too. when you only see someone's good side, its hard to believe when you hear bad things about them until, a lot of the time, you're out of the friendship or they show their true colors to your face.

As someone who never had a childhood due to truama. I cannot stand people who think it's good to have "mature children" mature children means something very traumatic happened. I had to grow up fast to survive. I was making my own meals at like 5/6. I learned how to safely use the stove..and take "care" of myself.. obviously I wasn't taking great care of myself. But it was enough to survive. My mom was checked out and my dad not around. I lost my only bff at 9.. I was so emotionally disconnected from my peers. It felt like I was the only one it was okay to bully and harass mentally and physically. Even teachers and teachers aids joined in. No one understood me in my peer group because they where all having actual childhoods..
@calliea3336

Mature children are traumatized children. Some healthy, well-adjusted children are comparatively responsible or intelligent, but kids who aren’t just nurturing, but parental, who aren’t just well-read, but worldly, who aren’t just articulate, but seem adult-that’s not a mature child, it’s a hurt child. I’m so sorry you didn’t get to have a childhood. It wasn’t fair, and it’s so wrong that adults who should have protected you joined in on the bullying. I wish you healing, freedom, and joy in your adulthood. ❤️‍🩹

Exactly! A “mature” child is a child that has endured a lot of trauma. My parents divorced when I was five and my narcissist mother (who also has other untreated mental illnesses) was checked out when she wasn’t abusing us so I had to teach myself how to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. to take care of myself and my two younger sisters. Add onto that my uncle (my mother’s brother) molesting me from age 3 and my mother allowing it to continue when I went to her after it first happened. I had to grow up quickly and I was way more mature than a majority of my peer group as well. I too have had to deal with having my best friend pass away. It has taken me a lot of therapy, EMDR, etc. to get to the point that I am not constantly triggered, but this isn’t something I would wish upon any child. Not having the opportunity to have a childhood was brutal. And I am so sorry to hear that you experienced something similar to me growing up. 💔 I wish you all of the best on your healing journey. 💞
@TinyandFeminine

@fukaikokoro I grew up a mature child because my parents loved and taught me to respect people, my parents expected well behavior from all of us growing up or else there would be consequences. You and everyone agreeing with you need to change their mindset on "mature" children, didnt have anyone to guide you so you took the initiative to lead yourself, thats willpower thats not being traumatized. Keep an open mind that your childhood is just YOUR childhood. Everyone goes through trauma but not everyone becomes mature after the trauma they go through, some people go through a hell amount of trauma as kids and some of those same kids are now the most immature adults in the world right now, they are also deemed by the government "undeveloped" !! @sngray11

I'm very close with my 12 year old niece. She trusts me and talks to me about everything including the boy she likes. I have never met her friends or wanted to spend time with them. I take my niece out shopping or whatever but it's totally not creepy like this. Children do need adults they trust as long as you have boundaries. I try to make sure she has self worth and won't fall into peer pressure bc she's had a hard life. I got her to safety 2 years ago finally but I'm aware the damage is done. That's why I probably do have a closer relationship with her than I normally would've but the poor girl has to know she's cared for. But it's not like I go to her sleep overs or her middle school football games or any of those things. I go to the sports games she plays in or events for her but it's still a separate thing. I follow her on tiktok but not any of her friends and I never comment bc I don't want to engage with anyone but my niece who is my family. She lived with me until she was 3 so it would be weird to not have a relationship with her. That's not what any of this is about.

Like we keep saying, there are no perfect victims. Unfortunately, JoJo is still stuck under Colleen’s control, and she may be for a long time. PSA. If someone older than you tells you they want to hangout with you and like you because "you are so mature for your age". You aren't. You are not cooler or more mature than the kids your age. If the person you look up to doesn't have friends their age it is a major red flag. Nobody would be caught dead hanging out with a 12 year old and unironically call them their friend. It's not normal, it's weird and that person has problems. I wish someone had told me that and it took me way too long to realize it.

It’s seriously been so amazing watching Trisha grow as a person over these past few years, and especially after she had her daughter. You can tell she has become MUCH more mature and mentally-sane, and I’m honestly so proud of her and what she has accomplished. She has truly been through so much growth, and I hope she is happy that she seems to be in such a good place right now, despite everything that has been going on around her recently. It just makes me really glad for her and her little family that she has turned into a much better person than she used to be, and I’m excited to continue watching her change and realize how much her past actions have negatively affected people. I’m happy to hear that you and her have come to some sort of middle-ground as well. You and her being able to have an adult conversation and her being able to apologize for indirectly causing you to get hate is great to hear about!

I will say there is only ONE excuse for being friends with a child; being their older sibling. My youngest sister and I are 11 years apart, and I'm 24. I cannot imagine talking to her about the things Colleen talked to you and the others about. It's absolutely disgusting

right? i’m only 8 years older then my only sister and now as a teenager and i’m in my twenties we are a lot more close now but like i would never ever ever talk to her like that before she was mature enough to handle it and never the way colleen did ever. not that. that’s never okay.

I think its important to point out that JoJo Siwa has a net worth of at least 20 million dollars and at the time of most of these collabs was even more. Its not that JoJo was profiting off of these collabs it is the people she was collabing with that were the ones grappling for the profits. Jo Jo was the one being used and its sad that she cannot recognize that. She cannot recognize it because she has been used as a tool for profit her entire life. No matter how sweet her family may seem we also need to remember that her family are the ones that expolited her at such a young age for PROFIT. Jo Jo defends these people because she only knows these types of people and thinks that their attention equals love for her.

Yes every new person in her life is her best friend and other adjectives that mean someone who is really close and meaningful to you. Both Jess and JoJo will cut someone if they feel that they have been wronged though and they openly say it. It must be a chaotic way to live.

@@Emmae62 As far as JoJo goes her mum Jess seems to have been the driving force. She has said that she saw something special in JoJo since she was a toddler and her aim was to make JoJo a star. Don't know what age JoJo was when she decided that she wanted it too. Jess started dyeing JoJo's hair from the age of 2-3 years old. She also put in the audition tape for Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition without asking JoJo if she wanted to do it (JoJo was the youngest her season at 9). From when they were on Dance Moms onwards Jess and JoJo moved to LA and for a few years Tom and Jayden were still in Omaha (they moved when Jayden was in year 12). I will give Jayden that he has decided that he wants to have a 'normal' life, has moved out etc.

I think also with Jojo saying “well she’s been nothing but nice to me” that it’s not being taken into account that maybe she was treated so well because she was already famous, and Adam was a “nobody”. She would be dumb to treat jojo like she did Adam when jojo already had such a huge platform at the time and Adam did not.

As a 27 y/o (who was emancipated at 16) i felt this feeling and recognized the growth each year until about 24ish. Each year felt exponential in comparison then after that there is a feeling about age, wisdom, and nostalgia that you sit with. It’s not a bad place to be if you take care of yourself. If you struggle, you learn that priority is you. Formative years are intense but not forever, dont worry 🫶

Trisha did it with Peter Monn, too. She was super upset that he made some negative content about her after she tried to be friendly with him. She very much seems to think that if she's nice to you that you cannot criticize her. May be a hard behavior to break.

Adam mentioned with the Kory photo it was Colleen testing the waters if it was safe to come back. That was a few weeks ago. Was this attempt number 2 to come back? Probably. How did it go? It completely backfired into the community trying to educate Jojo that she quite possible has been groomed.

I think adults and children can be "friends" (for lack of a better word) to an extent, but there needs to be WAY more boundaries than a friendship between two adults or two children. There are family friends of mine that I've been friends with since I was a child, but they never talked to me about adult subjects or anything inappropriate as a child.

But for some reason I’m the only one being attacked. “Don’t listen to one little person/ one little story” except it’s not. jojo just should've said "that wasn't my experience but i can't speak to other people's experiences". that is all she had to say. it's not hard at all to defend someone - within the parameters of your own experience with them- while acknowledging that you only know that person in the context of your experience with them and thereby avoid undermining victims.
