Great comments Adam. As you alluded, this is full-strength Angelina (not here in volume but in capability) showing how to perform this classic iconic song. What is remarkable about this July 10 concert is that Angelina performed pieces first seen in 8 of the last 9 decades! Who else past or present does that..much less at 16yo! Her depth and breadth and versatility as a world-class artist on full display! And as if to add the exclamation point, after a 15-song concert, then two encore numbers, she closes the evening with Whitney's "I Have Nothing"! Who else past or present does that..at 16yo!

This song has been in her head and heart, and on her repertoire for some years. Performed at conserts, and even recorded on her 2018 album "It`s Magic" (I love that album, and I love to mention it at any chance I get. (I`m not sorry for that 😁)) I must say the song is maturing with her. I still love every singel version/performance from her of this song. This one is . . . . can it be sung any better? Only Angelina nows 🤩

Crazy: Patsy Cline was interviewed about the song Crazy, and she stated that in the early 60s her career was going nowhere, and she was about to have her refrigerator repossessed when she heard that a song Willie Nelson gave her was going viral on all the country station. The song was CRAZY, and that song catapulted her to fame, as it did for Nelson. Patsy Cline's version of "Crazy" was great, but Angelina's version is over the moon, as always. AJ is the ultimate STORYTELLING vocalist of all time If a complete version of Crazy by AJ was played on country stations, it would be number one. This proves my point that AJ can be number one in all genres, not just jazz.

The band is fantastic with her, especially with jazz songs. They are one of the best jazz bands/jazz cabaret bands in Norway. This particular song they have played together several times, last in Kongsberg 2018.

Great reaction/analysis Adam. You did a wonderful job of pointing out Angelina’s honing of her performance skills (aside from her absolutely beautiful voice). She really is hitting her stride as an entertainer. At some point soon, you have to react to a new video (put together by Chris Walker [BigAngieFan]) of her performing “Suspicious Minds” at THIS concert. I think she performed it as part of the encore - second to the last. Chris included Angelina’s introduction to the song where she dedicates the song to her fans. She was brought to tears thinking of the many who travelled from around the world to see her perform and it was SO touching. There’s a touching photograph of 9 year-old Angelina with her arm around a bronze statue of Amy in London. It’s very touching. Amy would be proud of Angelina mimicking her hairstyle and she would be SO proud of the many beautiful covers Angelina has performed as a tribute to her idol. 🖤🖤🖤👣

Yes, this Willie Nelson song was sung by the great Patsy Cline. I believe that she recorded it even before Willie did. But, he wrote it. I love Angelina’s cover, although I wouldn't compare the two. Angelina will be considered among those great singers of the past, before vocal enhancement technology.
