SUBNAUTICA | Chill First Blind Playthrough

Let's do a nice, chill, exploratory playthrough of SUBNAUTICA and see what the game has to offer. - This is my blind, first playthrough of the game. I don't plan on doing anything very 'efficiently' in this playthrough and intend to just have fun.
What is a blind playthrough? It means Adam is playing the game without any previous experience playing, watching other content, reading anything, etc.
When the stream is marked as a blind playthrough please do not give any spoilers, tips, or hints unless specifically asked - let Adam suffer! If you are blind to the game also, though, feel free to help work things out together - like a good ol' couch co-op session.

Little bit of Info why the Aurora ( big Ship) looks a bit wonky on the outside: It was originally not meant to be explorable and more of a background prop but as it is the most stand out point seeable above water players gravitate toward it. This game was made in Unity while their former games was made in an inhouse engine named Spark. This shift to an unfamiliar enginge with a large shift of the Auroras purpose made them reconsider their ressource allocation as the team itself still was very tiny, that is why the aurora seems a bit unfinished if you get close to it from the outside at certain angles. Hope you enjoy/enjoyed the game tho its one of my all time favorites it was one of the first Early Access games that simply blew me away with its depth ( pun intented )

I have not said yet but I love your rimworld but I am happy that you have a lot of new and different games. It is hard to catch on every thing but I am trying hard. I love the vods better than the cut ones that way I can catch everything that is happening. I am sorry that I can not get home on time to watch the live ones but your streams are when I am at work

I love that with incredibly difficult games you complete your blind playthrough with zero deaths way more than you have any right to, but Subnautica got you in the first 8 minutes of gameplay I'm SO glad you're playing this game! This was going to be my choice if I had one marbles and I'm glad I'm not the only one with that idea.

As someone who sinks in water no matter all the times I've tried learning to swim...the only thing **more** anxiety inducing to me about this playthrough was Adam's "Storage System" :o

A very chill game and superb story gameplay music immersion, overall adventure (although sub zero was a miss). I have so many hopes for Subnautica 2. Please don't disappoint us game devs.

Strapped in the backseat quietly excited for the ride ahead :) Also I recommend the song Survive (Subnautica) by Divide Music. He does a lot of songs inspired by various media and it has the same chill electronic vibes the soundtrack has.

This was so dope, today I was sick and caught the start of your stream exploring this bizarre, well-made, game from the start. Love the music... though the "new blueprint" alert seems inexplicably loud, eerie, and out of place. shrugs

Hard to believe you'd never played Subnautica. IMO, despite a few bugs and the "third act" of the main storyline feeling rushed, it's the best (certainly most atmospheric) game of the last two decades. Unlike the horrible, horrible "sequel", which is basically a mod made by different people who completely failed to understand what made the original game great. I hope not a single one of them is allowed anywhere near Subnautica 2. P.S. - The chat window says chat is "disbaled".

There is an option to turn on PDA Pause in the settings. It's very useful.
