1:46:20 - pawns downed by blood loss can still insta-die. It's pretty funny when it happens to sanguophages, because it forces their brains to explode.

Have you considered doing a Tree Connection/Nature Primacy run focusing on the Gauranlen tree and dryads? Sort of the opposite of this run - plants instead of mechs. An "elf run"

I deffo agree with playing how you want, I quite often play witth dev mode on (cause I'm lazy) but you can set your own rules. One of the beautiful things about this great game

I was following this series challenge on my own and got steam rolled trying to get the relic. Was unlucky with the kitting and died to the droids. well that was a fun run none the less, I think I will do a vampire run next time.

59:32 When I play rimworld for the first time, I know I will lose. Because it's a colony sim. Losing is part of learning. But after a while you'll get used with the gameplay, you understand it, and you'll like it. And like he said, play however you like. Some ppl play it in peaceful and build a large city and that looks cool. Some ppl like having many hours of struggle from surviving the ice sheet.

When I first started I would reload every time I had a single person die. Now I just save it for full wipes learn more that way and it's funner when there's "real" consequences.

a shame you got rid of the healing enhancer, it does stack with the healing genes and with the super-fast healing gene, it's around 5.3 times faster than normal according to the wiki. Combine that with tough+Robust and good armor and you can out-heal most enemies. especially in melee.

even after oh so much warcrimes in rimworld, darkest dungeon runs, xcom... I still love my characters/pawns... I cant ever not, I consider them *mine* and I love them, some more then others for sure, but I love them. I have gotten better at losing them, even if sometimes I legit tear up, altho not too often in these types of games, usually a bit of anger (a mix of at myself or the game, usually calmed down after a minute if even) I will say I love them less then characters from rpgs I love, but still.

They weren't sent to just me. It was in a Discord channel to many people. But yes, I forgot due to needing to do bounty in time. Will just take a screenshot and post or show on next stream.

Ya I meant in most in streams when he ha muliple pawns. He recommends it but seems to never use it so was curious.

The short answer is 'it depends'. I use it almost every run, eventually. I can't think of a run aside from this one in which I didn't use it? It's not something you generally just put on early game. I generally switch to it when mood is a bigger concern later (when expectations are higher etc).

Gotcha thank you. I reread it on your website and assume the productivity hit you mention is likely why you wait to use it until mood becomes more of an issue with high expectations. I thought started with it right away was the way to go because of the evening raids, but they are small in the begining so no need. I understand now.

Adam's talk about how "characters are just pixels" reminds me of a story a few years back about a hooligan teen who went on a rampage stealing cars and doing basically a huge crime spree, because he "wanted to know what GTA V would be like in real life". Well, he found out that in real life the cops can't be mowed down by the thousands and won't go away if you hide real good for a few minutes. That's at least one of the differences between the make-believe worlds of video games and reality, with its real consequences for your real actions.

You should take some of the ai depictions of legendary artwork put it on t shirts and sell em. I don't know what the demand would be but if it turned out to be popular....
