Bottom end disassembly 1984 kawasaki kdx-200 part #2

Hi, just rebuilt a 96 engine, main bearings are a pain to remove ( very close to the crank web, can not get a 3 leg Puller behind, or even one of the 2 piece, half round pullers ), I suggest that you use a slitting disk and remove the outer race, then the ball gauge is easily removed, you the have a good place to use a 2 piece half round bearing puller on the inner race, clamping on the concave rad, this worked fine for me.

Thanks for that comment, I was just literally looking at them yesterday and was like how am I getting the bearings off. I was thinking the split half type puller that you mentioned but you already answered that question, not very much room to get behind these bearings. Thanks for the advice, you may see a video on it soon .lol..
