There is so much to admire about your parenting style. I love how the kids are allowed to play and be adventurous, be immersed in different cultures and how they are being intentionally exposed to different cultures and languages. Sooo beautiful, Adanna! Just please don't forget to get them to speak Igbo too, I'm 19 and was spoken to in both Igbo and English growing up. I can understand Igbo decently but can only speak very broken Igbo. Trying to learn to speak now is a struggle, I wish my parents forced me to speak it as a kid. I've grown to really love my Igbo culture now and it has become very important to me that I can speak it. I wouldn't want your beautiful kids to struggle as I'm struggling now!

Very easy to teach them while they are young...they grasp multiple languages then. I did the same to my now 25 year old son...he spoke English at school and at home it was always Swahili and my native tongue Kipsigis. No regrets.
