Yes for Ansel playing Ezra! I could also really picture Ed Speleers (from Zoo - 2018) - he's got the same baby face yet handsome and charming vibe going on :) and I could def see Dillane as Nik too but OMG Antonia yes yes yes :) for Rhys I'd been thinking maybe Justin Hartley :)

Oo I love your choices! For me I chose Jessica Barden for Kady - she plays Alyssa on the show The End of the F***ing World and she totally has the badassery, sass, and dramatic skills to play Kady(I also love Zendaya tho!). Nick Robinson for Ezra. Olivia Holt for Hannah - she was in a TV show about karate on Disney(I think?) and she's playing a superhero for Marvel. For Asha, probably Zendaya or Candice Patton.

Kady was often described with light brown skin or something like that. Especially with her cousin, I thought she might be at least half Indian or Native American maybe. Zendaya would be awesome.

Great video!! Zendaya and Ansel are PERFECT for Kady and Ezra!! I hadn’t thought of them before, but now I can’t get them out of my mind. A couple months ago, I saw a comment from Jay Kristoff on Goodreads stating that he thought of Bob Morley while writing Nick in Gemina. So, since then I pictured Bob Marley as Nick. I can see why you had trouble casting Rhys, since he was only in one book it was kind of hard to get a feel for him. I may be way off, but I was picturing someone like Harry Styles as Rhys, mainly because it was mentioned quite a few times how great Rhys’ hair is, and Harry Styles has great hair! Anyways, this comment is way too long, but your excitement rubbed off on me! I loved the people you casted! You should definitely do more videos like these ☺️

charity yoder yeah i always pictured it softer.. Like in the audio books i think lol but he would seriously work really well in that role. He can easily access a robotic-like pattern and tone :) i would honestly love to see it lol

This casting is SO on point! I definitely love Zendaya and Ansel for Kady and Grant, but I prefer Ashley Benson as Hannah! Not really sure about Nick, though. I never envisioned him like that actor. I love Millie Bobby Brown, but Rowan fits Ella better in my mind, for whatever reason. However, I also see Sabrina Carpenter as her!! She definitely would rock Ella's snark, and she's also blonde, so a plus. Fancasts are so so awesome.

I was picturing Natalia Dyer as Kady (taking in the description that Kady is short [5' 2'' only], petite framed, and rocks pink hair [i've seen pics of Natalia on dyed short hair and she looks lovelyyy]. For Ezra, I thought of Noah Centineo [lol i might be biased right here everyone loves him right nao anyway haha], also cos he's tall and tan.

In order to get that, genderless, smooth voice of AIDEN. I think a text to speech would be best. However if a movie were to forgo the genderlessness of AIDEN, then either Stephen Fry or Ellen McClain.
