I love your reviews! You put a lot of time and effort into them. Have you done a single motor range test on the 8X?
@ADayintheLifeofMr234 жыл бұрын
Ronald Prasad thanks a lot! Really appreciate that. I haven’t done a single motor test but just from the 2 tests I did with dual motors in gear 2 and 3 I don’t doubt the claimed range is achievable in single motor. In comparison single motor is SO slow vs dual motor. But like I said I think 30+ miles is easily achievable in single motor. Thanks again for watching and the comment!

Thanks so much! You are absolutely gonna love it! I grew up riding BMX so I’m a little more comfortable having handlebars vs a skateboard. But some of those electric skateboards look SO fun! Thanks, heard the solid tires affect the ride, have you noticed this and does adjusting the suspension help make the ride smoother?
@ADayintheLifeofMr235 жыл бұрын
Rick Deckard I haven’t messed around too much with the suspension. To me that part of it feels ok. What I have noticed though is they don’t grip the ground as well as I think air tires would. Corners you really need to use your weight more sorta like snow boarding or wake boarding, gotta almost plan for a little skid if you are going fast around corners. Some of the bigger bumps sound worse than they feel.

Greg Ruby it’s such a great trail to ride. During the peak of the shutdowns tho that thing was PACKED. Most of the time there will be people here and there but man, that was sorta crazy. I avoided the trail cause I’d have to slow down every few hundred feet to avoid people. But it’s stretches several miles, 8-9, from start to finish and has some cool turns. When no ones on it it’s a super fun little track!

Greg Ruby oh yeah! It’s a blast. I went riding with a friend of mine who has a 10x and it definitely has more power. I struggled to keep up. My tires are pretty bald at this point so I have to take it a little easier around corners so I don’t slide out. You’re gonna love that thing!

i want buy this e-scotter how it fells with solid 8 inch tires?
@ADayintheLifeofMr236 ай бұрын
I love it. You do get a slightly more bumpy ride with the solid tires but the shocks on the scooter do a great job at absorbing some of that. I don’t ever feel uncomfortable on the tires. I think you will be very happy with it. Thanks for watching.

@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 What is the real range on 15 miles per hour ? what battery capacity is urs ? i want buy the one of 24 i need for about 40 miles i not need big speed only range
@ADayintheLifeofMr236 ай бұрын
@laurala90 I have the 18ah battery. Mine claims up to 40 miles using single motor and gear 1. Top speed is about 12-14mph in that mode. I believe you could get close to the 40 miles for sure. I did a range test with both motors and gear 3. Top speed of 33-34mph and was able to get about 18 miles….so I think it would be safe to assume using less than half the power of the scooter would get you at least double that range if not more, especially if you’re getting the 24ah battery

I'm waiting for my 10x to be delivered and was going to put solid tyres on it, but then someone told me not a good idea.....what's your thoughts..??
@ADayintheLifeofMr234 жыл бұрын
Pat McCaffery tough to say for the 10X. Being that the tyres are 2” bigger on the 10X it could make the ride a little more uncomfortable. I know a guy who has the 10x and rides all over and hasn’t had an issue with flats. That’s what scared me away from the 10x was just even the thought of having to change those tyres. But it appears that isnt really an issue. It seems the tyres that come stock are pretty beefy. I guess maybe before I would make that change I’d first see how the stock ones perform. They might surprise you! Hope that helps. Thanks for the comment!
Is that the 18ah or 26ah model. And do you have any real world range figures?
@ADayintheLifeofMr235 жыл бұрын
Mark Shaffer 18ah. I’m actually editing a video about some real world range right now. I should have it posted in a few hours. But short answer is 20 miles would be a for sure 25 depending on terrain if you ride it how you would want to ride a scooter like this.

ES Rider haha. That could be one option. Honestly, I really don’t pay it much attention at this point. When in gear 3 full throttle the volts drop very quickly and then when you stop they are significantly higher than while you were riding. I think it’s good to sorta have an idea what the volts are but I don’t like relying on it since it fluctuates so much.

Hi, I also have the 8x. When I drive on a bumpy road, the front engine stops accelerating at times.I do not pass 30 km / h with a single engine. Does this happen to you too?
@ADayintheLifeofMr234 жыл бұрын
Sergio Saavedra Salazar I don’t know if it’s the same thing but I have experienced a time or 2 after a big bump it doesn’t seem like it wants to accelerate as quickly just for about 2-3 seconds then all seems normal. But with 1 motor in gear 2 I can go about 20mph or 32-33km/h. I feel like that is pretty accurate though because the top speed claims 35 mph or 56-57km/h so half that by using 1 motor and it is right around where you are. Thanks for the comment!

This scooter does not do 45 miles , I have the 18ah and it goes 11miles max in fast mode , I’d probably get 20 miles on eco going 7mph which is no fun at all
@ADayintheLifeofMr234 жыл бұрын
Yeah going less than 10mph isn’t fun at all. Definitely not why I bought this scooter. Haha. But 20+ miles in gear 2 is still a decent distance to do on the scooter. I feel like after 20 miles you’re tired of standing on that thing. Even 11 miles in gear 3 isn’t terrible. Sure it isn’t anywhere close to the advertised range but it’s still a decent distance to travel. I’d imagine not too long from now newer ones will be even more efficient. Still super fun tho! These types of comments intrigue me. Who do you think you are? No where in these videos do I make any suggestions that you yourself should buy this scooter. Nor do I say or even imply there is no risk to riding the scooter. This comment is of no value. This is your jaded opinion most likely generated by your lack of skill or ability to manage these devices safely. I have almost 1000 miles on this scooter and it is not a “death trap.” There is absolutely not 3-5” of wobble after you upgrade the stem clamp. So again I’ll ask……who do you think you are that I would actually care about your terrible opinion? This type of comment and negativity has no place on my channel. The crazy thing about these videos………you don’t have to watch. And to be honest I don’t want people like you watching my content. Did your music teacher ever teach you that no one cares about your negative opinion either? Maybe just stick to music since that’s nice and safe for you. There was no reason for you to comment this. If you feel this way……….keep it moving. You will not be missed. I promise you! ✌🏼

Bob Lee as far as I know revrides.com is the only place in the states that “stocks” them. It seems to me they just bulk order from China after they get enough pre orders. If you go on alibaba.com you can order from the source. Goods and bads in my opinion.....shipping may take a little longer than you would like cause it is international. But with that being said......price on revrides.com is $1600+. On alibaba they are 800-1000ish. Depending on the seller. But if you type in Zero 8x in the search box on alibaba a bunch of different sellers come up. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching
