If made a art box what it will be and what is the best of pen for a middle artist also how to get a Sponsor just wondering??..
@Elfdaughter
@Elfdaughter Ай бұрын
@@bravezoom That's a lot of indepth questions that you're not likely to get an answer to from ACDC, he'll get a lot of questions like that. If you want to find the best pen, then I suggest watching LOTS of reviews about brands that you can afford. Do research, look into them, try them out in stores. But remember - good tools does not make you a good artist - you can make amazing art with the cheapest of pens if you put enough practice in. As for getting a sponsor - concentrate on building your channel first. Get good videos, good lighting, good ideas. That will get you subscribers and views. You can't go looking for sponsors, sponsors need to find you. You've got 56 videos and 49 subscribers, that's not a bad start, but you need to be reaching thousands of views for sponsorships to start considering you.

Thank you for giving up. I feel so guilty when I stop enjoying colouring a certain picture (adult colouring book) and just turn the page and start a new one. It's a relief that a professional has done it too.

This is something that the KZbin art community needs more of! The realities of being an artist like pieces not working out, it being ok to give up (or even take a long break before going back), that there’s always an ugly phase (sometimes there’s multiple of them through one piece’s process), etc. ❤

Strong believer in the “ you learn more by failing than you do by winning”, if everything goes right then great but, if it goes wrong that’s where you learn. You learn what went wrong and how to not make that mistake again and how to fix it if you do, it’s also how you learn work arounds and even new techniques. Don’t get me wrong, screwing up a piece of art after several hours of work sucks, but for example learning you can push markers bleed back using the clear blender feels like magic…….just never give up art, that’s the only time you really fail

I think alot of people needed to see this happen. Me included. Its easy to get worked up trying to fix things and tainting a project to be less enjoyable. Knowing even the most skilled of professionals will take a step back from time to time is very reasurring for someone who's essentially still learning and figuring out what suits what styles. You continue to teach and inspire my friend. I hope you realise how much you help people with lessons such as these. And a great video still, i cant wait to show the kids. 😁

I love that you showed that even professionals struggle and give up. Honestly for any level of artist knowing that people at all levels of art struggle (especially with something a lot of people would claim is "simple and easy seeing as it's something kids do" ) is actually really helpful and refreshing. I think a lot of people who are aspiring artists believe that as a beginner, you're allowed to make mistakes because you're still learning, once you're at the intermediate/advanced levels of art though any mistake is criticized because "You should know this already, and you'll never be a professional with these kinds of mistakes", and professionals are put on this pedestal of never messing up in their art. There's one artist who had a saying that I absolutely LOVE, the artist was Bob Ross and the saying is, "There are no mistakes in art, just happy accidents." I love this saying because, even with the piece you just gave up on, later on down the road, you might learn new tricks and revisit it, and once you do, the things that weren't working may turn into what makes it a masterpiece. There is someone who teaches art that i've heard of in a similar way. They have their students use pencils to make a portrait of themselves from a picture that was taken, once they get it to looking as good as they can the teacher has them smudge the drawing and muddy it up. Once they've done that, using pencils and erasers, keeping the original drawing that's now smudged as a base, they have to once again make it look as good as they can. This process continues for about 6 cycles, each time the student "perfecting" the piece. Once they think it's perfect, that it can't get any better. Their teacher has them rip their drawn portrait because "Nothing is ever perfect, and that's fine. Once you say something is perfect, you can never improve, and you stop growing." I wish i knew that teacher's name, because I'd sing their praises. True, artists pursue the ability to capture beauty to the best of their abilities, and push themselves to be able to do a better job of it every time they try. The thing that we artists shouldn't forget is that there's beauty in the imperfections as well, and room to grow.

My pencil work is always on point but my ability to color always turns out like this, that's what I like about coloring books, there is no risk for something you worked hard on, only the reward of pulling it off and getting better as you do so you can go back to that drawing with more confidence

It kind of makes you realize how many times when artists in different fields like comic books, concept developers, or any other medium just gives up on what they're working on and moves on to something else. One thing I remember is from a video companion to the book "How to Draw the Marvel Way" where Stanley was telling about what the editor wants. The picture was starting to look like it was taking place in Ariel's secret cave of treasures. I think the black and white pages are images that were traced or made in a program but they just stuck what image that closely look like it. The other book I think was just used for color reference and not the same image.

The humor is balanced better with the topic being discussed; it doesn't feel forced or contrived. Plus the message you delivered is really refreshing to hear. Making Art should be enjoyable, and that it's okay to not finish a piece at times if you're not happy with it. Thank you for this.

I feel like quitting while you're ahead is one of the most important skills to build. In anything, really! It's easy to get caught up in sunk cost fallacy, and learning to say, "You know what? This ain't working out." is vital to undoing that.

Hullo Anthony, thanks for sharing this video with us! I have used “not the best paper” before and I have found that sometimes you can add tooth to your paper by spraying a workable fixative onto the picture in progress. If you must “rescue” the picture! Sometimes you cannot throw away your work. I have set some “failures” aside to work on later and discovered a way to finish well! Other times it is shredded as some things are not meant to last. I am also a person who scans linework just to have a safe copy should I wreck it during the coloring stage. I have worked as an inker and as a colorist keeping a good record of your work can be a job saver when a project goes bad and management is looking for someone to blame! As a colorist we were often given a master color map,(kinda Like your small examples in the coloring book that does not match the to be colored image) sometimes you get color names with a map to insure that your work matches throughout the project/book/movie! These jobs have mostly moved to Korea or similar low wage countries. I have heard of a few independent jobs in the good ol’ USA but not recently. Well enough of my nattering you be well and take care. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and thoughts in this video.

Displates are expensive for being misleading They claim the images are printed on metal. The images are not printed on metal. The images are printed on a paper that WRAPS AROUND the metal plate... The metal plate is just the sturdy material used to keep the paper/image tight and not slacked or anything. Cool designs, sleek, but the images are not printed directly on metal even though Displate claims as the gimmick that the images ARE directly onto the metal; which is misleading

Well…that’s reality. You try an experiment, and…it goes south. It’s a common enough occurrence that they have sayings about it: don’t throw good money after bad, don’t reinforce defeat, quit while you’re ahead. I’m sure there’s more. If you are doing this for fun, it’s easy - move on to something that is fun. Maybe you simply learned that on that particular paper, pencils aren’t going to work. Or maybe those particular pencils aren’t going to work. Do you have others? Try those! Different coloring books? Frustrated? Go for a bike ride! Maybe come back and see if you can salvage it - you may learn something in the process. Sometimes determination pays off. And sometimes it’s just doomed because the materials are incompatible. And sometimes, the process itself was entertaining. So thanks, ADC!
