Because even in wrestling your objective is not to stand up and put yourself in a dominant position. You can also do that on the ground. Wrestling has many starting positions that aren't standing up and you're objective is to pin them with you in the dominant spot. So do that then​@@youknowwho5900

But if someone is a better/pure Wrestler than me in a competition I will do the smart thing and pull guard myself. Pix need to reverse train. Already got wrestling and pretty good outside passing. Needs spend a year on his back in guard and in leg engagements. shouldn’t be that avoidant at this level. It’s gonna keep costing him if he doesn’t develop more skills. Even a wrestling up game would be big for him
