We've been looking for ways to add Apple CarPlay and other modern features to our 2013 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4matic ever since we bought it. We could replace the entire infotainment system, but the Carpuride W903 gives us all the features we need without a messy installation. I cannot figure out how to add the additional rear camera. I also cannot find any instructions on how to make both the front and the rear camera connect and how or how to choose which camera to look at from the device. The app that they said to download work the front camera as anticipated but there is nowhere to add an additional camera.

Is it the same device? Ours came with the rear camera, and the front camera is physically attached to the main unit, so there's no way for it to not detect the forward camera.

Is the dashcam footage clear and stable? Is there some OIS going on ? (optical image stabilization) or does it have bad vibration?

I checked the footage on-device yesterday and while there doesn't appear to be any OIS or software-based stabilization, the footage seemed stable enough to use. I imagine the dashboard mount would help to smooth out road bumps more than the suction arm I'm using, but compared with some of the other dashcam devices I've featured over the years it seems to work out pretty well.

How does it connect audio to a car which doesn't have Bluetooth or aux?

It has a built-in speaker you could use, worst case. if not get an FM transmitter.

So the screen has its own bluetooth connection and connects to the car’s bluetooth audio system in order to play music, etc?

My next question would be if it does connect to the car audio system via bluetooth to play music, etc, how does it connect to the car and the phone to provide the carplay? Thinking about buying this so i apologize for the questions.

There is Bluetooth on the screen, but my iPhone connects to CarPlay via WiFi and Bluetooth to my car's native infotainment. I can control my Apple Music through the Carpuride as if it were part of the car, but everything comes through my car's speakers normally. Even phone calls work this way too.

You didn’t even show how to install the back up camera.

I mean I went over why, in the time I had to get this set up I didn't have time to drill into the bodywork of the vehicle, wire it up to the brake light, and ensure proper weather-sealing on the hole I'd need to cut.
