Any tip on how to make a single sheet containing multiple cards with bleed and crop marks? Should i just make a board and put all boards in there?

Hi Ashley, I am not very good at illustrator. 1) From your tutorial, does that mean that the printer will only print the crop part (red part in pdf)? 2) Is crop the same as margins? Must I fit my art within the margins so that the printer can print everything out? 3) Must we always set crop, bleed and margin for any type of work that we do in illustrator? Please help me! Thank you : )

Hello! All of the art and crop marks will be visible, including the bleed area. The crop marks tell the printer (person) where to trim the paper. Bleed of a background or objects helps prevent any white on an edge if the printer (person) doesnt trim perfectly. 0.125" is a common bleed. A margin is the area between the main content of a page and the page edges. If you're printing at home, you'll have to make sure the art with bleed and crop marks will fit on your paper size without the (home) printer accidentally cropping it due to its margin of printing capability. I can see how a person could be confused. If you're trimming at home, it's helpful to have the trim marks but not completely necessary if you have a full background color defining the shape you're trimming. Hope this helps!

When I do that I see nothing. I'm just trying to create a template. With crops and bleeds so I can pull each graphic in.
