Add New Colors to your Sabertrio Lightsaber (White Blade) *Easy*

Hey guys I heard back from Sabertrio concerning the 1023,1023,1023 for a white blade below for your information. It is not recommended. Hey Shaun, You're most welcome, glad to be of assistance. :D To answer your question, using those parameters will not burn out your board. However, they may potentially damage the LEDs in your Neo Blade as this setting indicates that all LEDs are firing at maximum capacity. While using this setting for blaster blocks or blade tip drags is fine, we would not recommend it if you're looking to have a white blade. Instead, we would recommend setting it to as this would not put as much strain on the LEDs in the Neo Blade. I know kyberphonics has code fulcrum which he got sounds from clone wars but I don’t think their is quotes. Found someone that got sound from the mandalorian. Offering them free. Currently working on adding quotes to it. Sounds good so far. I will post a video once I complete my updates.

Did you add those //*colour here* to each of yous manually? I got my saber today and I don't have those there just the numbers, if I added them it wouldn't mess up anything would it? And is there a site that has all the names of the different colours to I know exactly what ones is which

No I did not. That is how the code was written for my board. When adding a new color all you would do is copy the exact code from another color. Change the name, sequence number (example 1,2,3,etc….) and the color code I provided. Here is the link for the sabertrio color codes. sabertrio.com/pages/user-guide

Hey you may want to ask sabertrio if you can use 1023,1023, 1023 for your white blade without burning out your board.. I think those digits are only for clash on flash. It says on their site to only use it for that. I just dont want to see you burn out your board. If you need another good white that won't burn out your board let me know I got one

Hi Shaunlem. Thank you for bringing this up. I was not aware of this. I thought I responded months ago but seems like it did not go through. I would appreciate it if you could provide me that code. I will try it and add it to my description as well. Luckily I don’t run my white blade too long therefore blade does not get hot enough. Better to be safe than sorry.

Their is a blade profile that allows you to do this. I will be making a video soon on how to add different blade profiles to your saber. Once their you can customize the ignition speed and colors.

Yes. This is for CFX boards. They also sell proffie boards but that process is a little more complicated.

I noticed you have "Senza" engraved near the pommel of your saber! It doesn't come from Sabertrio like that, does it?

It’s actually not engraved. I did not have the funds to pay extra for that feature. I went to Michaels (hobby store) and got some decals stickers and added them. They are holding up really went. A nice 4 dollar upgrade that improves the hilt.

Nice! This helps. How would you compare violet to the default factory purple? I've always though the default was way too light and more like lavender than purple.

The actual blade color does not change much as it’s full of led lights and bright to the eye. But it does look more purple. The surrounding object (walls, people, furniture) reflect the true color of the blade and that color you could tell it’s darker. So when the light reflects on you, it will show a darker purple. Check out my other video Ashoka Tano. Minute 6:45-7:10. I entered 15 for the new white color. Since 16 is my new purple if I wanted to add it as a start up color I would change it from 15 to 16 as that is how I label it.

No. You have to add them. There are 14 preloaded colors. You could search online for specific CFX color codes.

hi I tried this with my saber however when I try to cycle the colours the new ones do not show up, I have double checked the files and they are still there any idea why this is happening?

Not sure. I have not had that happen to me. I would suggest removing the added files to revert the folder back to its original state. Then close out and remove the card. Enter then micro sd and do the whole process once more.

That is weird. Mine is all white. Not sure what would cause that. Maybe something with the LED strip installed in the blade. Try sending a message to the company to see if they know what is causing it.

It needs to be a neopixel configuration to get all the benefits. If you want to duel with it you could get an FX configuration and upgrade the board to CFX. This won’t have all the blade benefits, such as tip drag, scroll up and down and huge selection of blade profiles. You would still be able to modify the color though and get the sound. Sabertrio gives you the option to choose either one.

Any way you can answer something? After I added new fonts and colors, like white and purple, why does my saber make a loud click/beep sound when I retract the blade? I tried removing the new fonts and colors completely, but I’m still having the same problem. Any reason this is happening?

Does the clicking sound happen with just one font or all fonts?

@@darthstarforce1677 at first, it was just the new fonts with the new colors, but now it’s a couple fonts that have white flash on clash, it’ll flash for a bit then make that beeping sound.

@@brandt_dunham not sure why it adds the click sound. The folder that is updated is the blade profile which only deals with the LED. You could always download the original CFX folder from sabertrio and just replace it so it revert back to its original status.

Ok I figured it out. The saber would make the noise that is heard when putting the blade into the hilt, that clicking sound. That would happen when I used a white blade. I figured out that Sabertrio advises against using a white blade too much, as it can be damaging to the LED lights. It would make that clicking noise as a warning that the blade was too bright, so I went into the settings and lowered the blade power a few notches, and that solved the problem. Possible fix. On the physical adapter for the Micro SD card it has a lock. Make sure to slide to unlock otherwise it won’t let you change it. Including video example. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGWTg4J8bNN9aKs

I'm curious now, is it this easy to program it on a lightsaber from any company? Or is this just for Sabertrio?

This is for the CFX board. Sabertrio uses this board. It’s different for a proffie board and golden harvest v3. For instance saberforge uses harvest v3 thus it would be a little different. Some companies use proffie and that is completely different from my tutorial. Any lightsaber with CFX should be easy to update.

Is a color like the dark saber possible?

No. That affect can only be possible through a custom blade. After thinking about it the only way I see to get that affect is having a custom inner blade tube that is black with lightning design to allow the light to go through. Then the outer blade tube would need to be clear and have LED at the bottom of the blade to give it the outer glow. So two blades in one.

Looks a little darker in the blade but the light reflecting on objects like walls and furniture is darker. Imma try an even darker purple. Maybe an indigo. I’ll let you know how that looks once I install it.

I got the kyberphonic “dark”version 2 soundfont. He includes the mandolorian theme song in the files which you could add to the saber. Also includes other sound clips from other characters like darth maul. You could use them to customize the current font or other preloaded ones.
