You are the fist one to finally mentioning how to add timecode to certain clips only instead of whole timeline! Thanks, you saved me.

I spoke too fast... there is a catch with the clip-specific timecode.. If you dont have at least one Data Burn element checked for the entire project, you can't assign burned in elements to individual clips. The work around is to assign something to the proeject and set Opacity to 0% (Dont know if that makes sense)

Thank you. Let me look at this.

I don't know why but I do whatever you said and i continue seeing the TC burning in the screen and does not matter if i even restart davinci, even if i create a file . mov and uncheck the option you mentions.. the time code continue there.. however when I reset UI layout for a sec i can see does not show up but as soon as i stop the video to go to export it.. the time code is back to the screen

Watch towards the end of the video where it specify the option to remove in the export window

It can be a bug also. Please share the screenshot of the data burnin and the export window. We can check

Why no one ever explains how to remove or hide the timecode from timeline, not just during the export or delivery.

We have specified it in the video. Just untick what you don't need from data burnin. Let us know if you need further help. Thank you

@@Moundain the problem is you have to go thru one by one and uncheck. Then remeber what was previously checked when you need to turn it back on. We are looking for an timeline toggle.
@Moundain28 күн бұрын
@D878D5g7 we have an option to save it as presets

if you add a timecode to a timeline and use this timeline in another timeline (nested), the timecode is gone. So it's useless if you want to cut a longer clip within a nested timeline.

Dear Lens. Data burn in is common for all sequences. Incase you need seperate data on different timelines, you can save your choices as a template and swich it between sequences.
