Do you know how to upload the listing without the listing getting activated? On the Offer Release Date and Sales Start Date I put a date in the future but I can’t upload without the listing becoming activated on Amazon! It shows Inactive on my inventory management page but I can view it on Amazon where it says currently unavailable but when I scroll down to the Product Description, Date First Available is the same as the date I uploaded the Excel file!

I try to add my products to existing listings, but for some reason when i go to my inventory tab, the status is on 'incomplete'. When I click on it, it takes me to the product details page but nothing is missing from there, everything that is required is filled in as far as i know... any reason for this?

hey ali, I want to hear your opinion. I am happy with the result of vine and I want to do more to my listing but I know that l cant. I am selling clothing and I want to create a new parent asin with new child(new barcodes for each child) asins. the difference from old listing will be just colors. I will start vine then I will delete the new parent asin and then I will add those child asins to my old listing with excel bulk upload. would that work and how risky is this? Thanks

If I have to update my product description and amazon told me to try this excel via upload method, do I have to fill out everything or just the product description part? My product is search suppressed and updating it through inventory edit will not work...

This video is very helpful. But I still and always have error 8804 and 8805 when I update my Brand name from Generic. I have 2 sibling ASINS and trying to update brand name at parents and Siblings But always fall into errors. I probably submitted 30 or 35 files but same error

I have then used your method to add the product correctly and amazon have pulled information from the deleted ASIN. This upload page has changed from what you have in your video. Not a big deal other than there are 2 buttons that one could click. One is "replace" and the other is "reset". I did not choose either. I suppose that I could call Amazon and ask what do those options do. Can you comment on this?

Hi, I’m a new seller and this video was very informative and I’ll definitely subscribe. I launched a product 3 months ago and recently just last week got approved for brand registry on Amazon. I’m trying to convert my listing to change brand from generic to my brand but it was not letting me. Finally somehow it got added but I cannot join the vine program because it says my brand is not mapped to my ASIN and that I need to delete my listing, wait 48 hours and recreate the listing with my brand. Will I lose all of my ratings/reviews if I do this? They did mention i could do the feed upload. If anyone has come across this before please help, I really appreciate it.

Hello Sohail, I'm so glad you found the video helpful! You will not lose your reviews if you follow that process, as long as you use the same ASINs for each listing as before. And yes, I'd definitely recommend using a feed upload to add them back. Best wishes!

Parent is an ASIN that exists just to group all variations together. It does not show on Amazon as an item for purchase. You can create your parent by filling out all cells just as you would a regular item but you don't need to add anything for the Product ID. For the Variation column in the file, make sure to set as parent. You have to create an SKU, which is a unique code for inventory organization purposes (it means Stock Keeping Unit). You can mix letters and numbers when creating. Once you decide on your Parent SKU, be sure to add that to the CHILD (or variation) row in the columns that says 'Parent SKU'.
