This is one thing that I missed many years ago because I jumped into After Effects since forever (and too soon maybe). There it would either be the very slow After Effects default zoom/radial blur (almost the same as the Photoshop one), then the Trapcode Shine plugin appeared and then the CC Suite plugins that were made part of it (which contains a suite of fast blurs). Motion has always been very optimized on anything it tries to do. And now enter 2021, the new object trackers, creators like yourself that democratize and share the knowledge, the new machines just recently released… what an exciting year to be honest. Amazing tutorial sir.

I think this object tracker is going to put motion a whole new level! Definitely looking forward to some updates from Apple!

I don’t think a lot of people know how powerful Motion is. It can do everything After Effects can do, except for multiple point camera tracking and the 3D map layer thing. It would be really cool if you could show a lot of compositing tutorials that most people think can only be done in AE, but can easily be done in Motion. 💪🏾💥

Agreed. If you are able to show how powerful Motion is that would be a game changer for a lot of people. You pay $50 one time versus the monthly subscription

Pretty awesome. Just a minor suggestion, in the next video, can you show the final before and after result in full screen at the end as well? Great job as usual! Thank you.

off topic question regarding motion: the app store only has "motion" and not "motion 5". Is it reasonable to assume the current version of motion available in the app store is motion 5? thanks
@Bryantfstephens2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Apple only offers the latest version that your device is capable of. Also as long as you buy the legit version (compared to bootlegged etc) you'll be able to upgrade to the latest version when you get a compatible device

Great video. Outstanding. Also, I should mention I used the Envato Elements link you provided but the price was $16.50 per month annualized, which is the same as offered to the general public. How do I get the 50% off? What am I missing?
@TheFinalCutBro2 жыл бұрын
Hey Roger! Thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes they run the same deal for the generalized public at that same 50% off rate. So unfortunately $16.50 per month (when payed annually) is where it's at. Still an astounding deal for all that they offer! But I do apologize for the confusion!

WOW! You are a genius. Do you have the option to turn this plugin into a Final Cut?
@TheFinalCutBro2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, because Final Cut Pro doesn’t allow you to link effect parameters to tracking data, this is only currently possible within Motion. You could however create the light ray effect and manually track it within Final Cut Pro and achieve a similar effect. But there is no automated way to do this as of now. Thanks for watching!
@yigalpesahov2 жыл бұрын
@@TheFinalCutBro yes I create this effect as a template in final cut it works beautiful but of course without tracking. Thank you very much
