Born in a broken home to a mother that abandoned him as a baby and a drug addict father, Kelvin inevitably delved into a world of drugs and gangs by the age of thirteen. The next twenty years of his life was spent going in and out of jail for drug abuse and petty crime to feed his addiction. Now a Singapore citizen and church singer. 🤲

Bro. Kelvin. 20 years ago we went to hear your testimony Thank you again for your Relapse testimony.. Your testimony is very powerful and real. It reminds us constantly that we are never really free from drug until the day we leave this world. We could be going to church faithfully and stay at different Halfway houses. But the battle with drug is never over yet. Everyday is a spiritual battle. We must not slackened and give in to temptation to sin. We need to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to empower us and to put on the full armour of God. Lastly, one of your Hokkien song Hold My Hand Lord Jesus had encouraged my relative during her lowest point of her life and lifted her up. Hope to hear more Hokkien Christian Songs by you soon.

Sometimes, I think that I'm no better than a drug addict because I'm locked up in a spiritual jail in some areas of my life. I realized that the true meaning of freedom is not about doing what we want, but rather, it is having the ability to stop doing what we do not want. I guess that's very hard, but thankfully, God's grace is sufficient for us every day. God looks at our hearts as long as we try our best. The Bible says that God is compassion, mercy, slow to get angry, and filled with unfailing loves and faithfulness.

I had been wondering of Kelvin's whereabout for the past years since 2015 when he came to Kelantan to share his testimony. His testimony has touched my heart and l had made several copies of his cds to give to some folks in my kampong here. Praise the Lord for Kelvin's return and never to relapse again. It would have ruined and hurt many souls and himself if he hadn't turned back to God and be totally freed from the clutches of the evil one. May Kelvin continue to grow stronger each day in the power of Holy Spirit and be of greater use for the Lord! I pray he and team will come to Kelantan again to share his testimony of his overcoming the relapse. There are many young men here who are victims of drugs addiction here,(kampong) esp of the chinese household that l heard of. May Kelvin n team come again, God willing.

We are always weak and that is why we need to depend on God. Being a child of God is not slavery of boldness, strength and humility but just like a natural request/dependent of who we are and who he is. We are born with not choice because of Adam and Eve weakness and the sly of Satan and for his hatred for God. The freedom God given to us to choose during temptation is our stand of who we want to be. Thank you so much for your sharing of the dark voice of Satan which many people not aware. Bro, you are victorious like your brother said for 10+ years you risen and stumble for this once only. Keep up the fighter spirit which shine the glory of God. Yes, not even once... the identity of God's child

Cheer up friend. God is good. God is love and God is Light. He loves and cares for each of us providing for our needs and not our own. He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life as a ransom to redeem us. Yes in our spiritual journey, we fall. But keep looking unto the Lord who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We are not our own, we belong to Him. We ate blood bought. Praise The Lord and Amen

There is only one way to quit drugs in this world. Cutting off all contact with friends and people who are drug users. A lot of people don't know what drugs are. Drugs make you become the loneliest person in the end. You use drugs you lose everyone in your life except druggies. You don't want to use drugs you have to cut off all your druggies'friends in life. That's the true power of drugs have over your life. It's best one never start drugs in life.

Moderation is key, quiting all substances (including alcohol and tobacco) cold turkey might not even be practical for many people in the long run. I mean how often do you see someone becoming substance (all kinds including alcohol and tobacco) free for the rest of their lives even after going into rehab? What if a former drug user still drinks alcohol occasionally? Most people assume that drugs are illegal because they are harmful. But according to scientific research, the legal status of substances is not exactly correlated with the level of harmfulness.

1 Thessalonians 5 : 9-11 "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Ecclesiastes 4 : 8-12 "There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. “For whom am I toiling,” he asked, “and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?” This too is meaningless- a miserable business! Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Brother Kelvin thanks for being open about your relapse and this is a testimony to all that we all need one another for support, and that we need each other to continue our faith. Real happy that you have a brother like Michael who you can journey with! God bless you! May you help others overcome their addiction!

I think a true man is not one that feels superior by judging others to puff themselves up, a true man admits his mistake, truly repent and try again in humility. Drug addiction is a no trophy win. It's a lifetime of battling temptations. Until we walk a mile in one's shoes, we can never say we will never do what he did given the same circumstances and childhood.

My grandmother taught me - when u raise your finger to point at someone, remember, your other fingers are pointing right back at yourself. Who are we to judge others? Some of us are just lucky to be borned into a better n loving family. Everyone is equal in the eyes of Jesus but love and compassion means so much more for the fallen . It doesnt make you a better person if u dress or speaks better. He who has fallen but picks himself up and rise above the trial and ordeal is a man of courage that deserves respect more than someone with poisoned words and unkind thoughts who thinks he is better than others. To err is human. Dont cast a stone at someone when you yourself is imperfect. A drop of kindness and compassion pooled together makes the world a better place. Pass it on and God bless those in darkness and hope they can be brave to make a step towards the light. Amen!
