Wowwww literallly made my cry. I also had a very wild life and always did things in excess and had a lot of hard things that resulted from partying and it brought me so much shame! Then I got saved in 2019 filled with the Spirit of God and life is still hard sometimes but I just was hurting for you so bad!!! Like I couldn’t imagine that deep of stuff happening at such a young age but it just goes to show how deep the depths of despairs can really go! But also when you’ve experienced so much darkness early on you can experience such a higher level of happiness in the good things Bc you know just how good it is! Praying for you!!!!

Also thank you for your brutal honesty. I have struggled with addiction myself and so did my ex-husband who is the father of my children. We are on Suboxone now and have been for probably 6 years but now our 22 yr old son is in treatment for fentanyl addiction. I have a daughter who is 27 and never even smoked a cigarette. My son's name is Geno. PLEASE pray for my baby. He definitely didn't have the best role models and I wish I could change that but all I can do is fix now. Thank you for giving us all hope.

Holy shit. I’ve heard thousands of these stories on KZbin, tv, etc. My own sister is in active meth addiction and I’ve witnessed that. This is by far the greatest miracle. The fact that you are ALIVE, Lauren, is a true testament to God, but your positivity and your sheer determination to be sober and happy is all you. You did that, girl!! ❤️

Your honesty is very powerful. You shared quite a lot that would be very difficult for most to share. You went through a ton as a child; that was confusing, painful, and deeply traumatic. Its really awesome to hear your story of coming out the other end of your addiction tribulations. And, seeing you blossom as a woman; as a mother in the way that you are; and that your soul deserves. You are courageous ~ Thank you for sharing your story in such depth ~ Bless you and your familes everyday~ May you know peace through the rest of your life ~

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your story. Extremely raw and powerful. You are a warrior for laying it all out there no matter how uncomfortable. I am absolutely moved by your honesty. Addiction is a bitch and unfortunately comes with a shit ton of bullshit stigmas. It holds so many back from seeking treatment. It seems like people suffering with addiction are forced into a box of shame and that’s bullshit. Addicts are so much harder on themselves than any family member or keyboard troll could ever dish out! God bless and thank you for touching my life in a positive way 💕

I was a functioning addict for about 17 in which I raised my two children who are now adults. My oldest will be 28 in January and my youngest is in rehab for Fentanyl. They didn't have a great example growing up but luckily my daughter has never even smoked a cigarette. I am praying my son sticks with the treatment program. My point is that I feel tremendous guilt and shame but those emotions do not help. They are my personal learning lessons. You can't change the past or predict the future. The present is a gift which you use to be better every day. God Bless you
