Tightening the valves up to .07 on intake and .17 on the exhaust..turbo will come in a little sooner!

I did 15.8 at a 1/4mile strip in my 95 5 spd. All the free fuel mods, stock turbo and injectors. The 98 12V does 13.0 @ 103 but it has more done to it. These truck are a blast to tinker on and cheap compared to others

I’m running my 95 12v with tork tek overflow valve, bhaf, 4 inch straight pipe downpipe back. I put in a 100 fuel plate full forward, afc full forward, fender washers instead of the cupped washers, pre boost 1.5 turns in from making contact, stock afc spring. I put 35 psi shop air to the afc and adjust the star wheel to get just full rack travel at 35 psi boost. I also have a manual lockup switch and a separate manual overdrive switch. What do you think?

@@mattleonard5268 I got that the afc live adjust Psi from the turbo And the attitude is basically an adjustable fuel plate Seems like the afc live is a tad over engineered at least for what I want it for.

Since I set my full afc travel at 35 psi, my stock afc spring is a lot tighter and I gained a lot of top end power. Before, It felt like it was opening the wastegate early and blowing through the wastegate and wasting power.
@SeveredChad3 жыл бұрын
The AFC and wastegate work individually. sounds like you've got it figured out though!
@mattleonard52683 жыл бұрын
They are separate but they work together

With the full afc travel at 20 psi in the video, and your wastegate unmolested (I’m assuming), how do you determine max boost?
@kctyphoon4 жыл бұрын
Not saying that didn’t make a difference - but you also dropped a passenger and how much weight? Losing a few hundred pounds alone would make a difference

@@heywatsup671 you’re right but gotta be damn easy on it if the trans is stock, don’t want to be in the throttle very hard when it shifts or it won’t last long at all. How did your weight go from 6900# with you as the sole occupant down to 6650# with yourself plus at least 2 additional people? Seems to me the correct weight should be around 7300# give or take, judging by the size of them boys. Which would bring your total calculated hp up a bit...for both runs actually. Your cheating yourself out of some hp numbers. N.F.G.
