Fun Fact: Some of these variants were made as a result of Variant Idea contests for each character! I ended up winning the Captain Deadbeard contest and got my variant, Captain ShiverTimbers, added to the mod! So yeah, I’m a big fan of the mod lol

I'm not talking like the guy's worthless, but this is a case of something being popular MAINLY because it *is popular* . It retroactively pulls more people in. Of course his content has flaws, and of course it is nevertheless, simply enjoyable to many, but his outstanding popularity compared to other GW channels? My favorite thing about gw2 and what sets it apart from different shooter games was the variants, and that's why I absolutely despised battle for neighborville, its not hard to come with crazy new variants for a class and I really wish other games did that

Yes, no variants or sticker shop, but it had a LOT of quality of life improvements, sprinting, great new characters, 4 (technically 3) fully explorable story mode maps, hidden with dozens and dozens of collectibles, brand new customization options, and best of all, the fully reworked leveling up system, with individual upgrades for every character.
