So damn pumped you picked up DARQ. You'll have to let me know what you think when you get around to playing it. Scott wants to pick up Rise of the Ronin. He typically doesn't love open world games so we will see. I am sad to say I still haven't gotten around to playing FF7 rebirth and I bought it day one. I've just played so many bigger games lately. I'm worried about getting into another big game. I know I'm going to love it so I should just play it already. GranBlue Fantasy Relink is one Scott has been excited for. We absolutely had to pick it up. Been loving the podcast btw. You're both so knowledgeable and I love that Loon is stepping outside his comfort zone and doing it. He is a great resource of information and you guys both bring a lot to the table.

Awww thanks so much for the kind words it’s such a pleasure and luxury being able to do the videos each week and I’m just thankful for the opportunity 😁 The open world bloat has been strong this year along with just big games in general. I’ve heard almost unanimous praise for Rebirth so you’ll definitely love it but it’s important to jump in when you’re ready less it sour it in any way 🙂 I’ve never played DARQ might have to give it a look I’ve seen it on sale many times so maybe I’ll grab it next time. I think right now I’m playing many more smaller games myself to not feel burnt out by the time Outlaws and SMTV drop (so excited to play SMT on Xbox!!! 😂🥰)

I’m with you on having to put the bigger games down for a bit. I legit can’t muster up the courage to invest that type of time into one game right now lol. Picked up quite a few titles too many to name honestly, but I have been on the fence to grab dragon's dogma. But I'm playing Trinity Trigger on the ps5 right now and the takeover on the switch. An underrated beat em up. Great pickups, bro 💪🏾

It’s a great game DD2 but I’d probably suggest waiting a little. It’s got so many great aspects but is laced with many negatives like Brandon touched on. 30 or below would be a decent price pick up for it.

I picked up Under the Waves recently for PS5. It’s a pretty chill change of pace kind of game with a good emotional story. I’m enjoying it so far.

Love the pick up videos Brandon. You should bring Loon in on the next one. It would be interesting to hear what he picks up. I bought DARQ when it was released and have not yet played it. It’s a short game, so I need to just load it up and knock it out. Did you play through Alone In The Dark as both characters? I played through as Emily and found the janky combat to alright once I figured out when to dodge. The story was spooky and weird which I liked. That final boss what a pain in the ass! No room to move around if you didn’t pay attention to your movements.

I only played as David Harbour’s character. I figured the play throughs were pretty similar, but I could be wrong. Just figured the team didn’t have a large enough budget to make significant changes. Really enjoyed that game man. Definitely rough around the edges, but about as good as it gets for a AA survival horror game imo. We can prolly do some Xbox centric pickups with Loon, I still collect for OG Xbox & 360 a bit.

Nice pick ups as always. Myself I could not resist those sweet boo.... I mean as.... I mean Stellar Blade. I must say pretty good game even without the sexy lady 😅. Platinum #116 incoming. I also grabbed Tide of Numenera, Pacific Drive, Earth's Dawn, Ad Infinitum, The Talos Principle 2, Lords of the Fallen & R-Type Final 2. I am waiting on my Sea of Stars copy on May 10 and that BG3 physical edition that should finally ship ...

Fun plats would be Dead Space Remake, Bloodborne and MGSV Hard I think Iron Man VR, Sifu + its DLC and also MGSV.
