Should Bloober Team Remake Other Silent Hill Games?

I’d actually prefer to see if they can make their own entry. Show us all what they learned from the core of SH2 having remade it and bring a new story to life. Then if that’s successful maybe expand the team. Have half work on new entries and half remaking the fan favourites. They have a huge opportunity to propel themselves into success and hope they do, as I respect if you enjoyed their previous titles but I felt they were very lacking.

It’d be so sick to see Kojima hire Bloober to finally get his vision of PT out there. Kojima could just write the story, which I’m sure he already had most of that written… obviously it’d have to be outside the Silent Hill universe… but I still really wanna see him lean fully into horror

Breakout studio will be such a tough category this year, this year really has been the year of breakout studio hits. Bloober Team definitely deserves to be in the running with Silent Hill 2 remake, but Team Asobi with Astrobot and Game Science with Black Myth Waking are also very strong contenders. Both studios really came out of nowhere to release games that are all contenders for GoTY. Also, Cronos looks so sick, based on the art design and atmosphere we've seen, it looks right up my alley. I'll welcome all the horror studios we can get. I personally feel like right now in the modern gaming landscape mascot platformers and survival horror are the 2 genres that most need a comeback, as there aren't many studios doing games like that, especially compared to when I was younger in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Bloober is not a breakout studio at all since it's a remake, they've been handed what already exists and made it look prettier in UE5, that's it. You can call them a breakout studio as soon as they have an original game that is actually good because so far their track record for anything that isn't a remake is shockingly mid.

SH2 Remake was really good, so I hope good things come for them in the future. I didn't like anything they did before SH2 Remake besides Layers of Fear, but that was just a walking simulator at the end of the day so here's hoping their future games have combat and great quality.

Yeah I think they’re definitely trending in the right direction, genuinely looking forward to their next game… which is something I’ve never said before about a Bloober game lol

I’d be down for SH1 remake for sure
