I've been wanting to do this to my electric scooter thanks man great video

Soon as he said ( adding a stereo system to your E bike ) i couldn't stop laughing..
@Thomas-yr9ln Жыл бұрын
They must sell stereos that mount to the handle bars of a ebike because they always have for peddle bikes. Just buy one for a regular bike and it turns out better because you're not draining your electric bike battery. Better yet get a satellite radio and modify it.

well done! look real slick! and to clarify, the power adapter @0:58 is a DC to DC step-down 'buck' converter that puts out up to 240 watts at 12 volts. uhm right?

Just got a bike with a similar setup already installed.. however, we can't figure out how to turn it on or connect to our phones. Any advice?

I did this 8 years ago,and i use a rechargeable HD Bluetooth adapter.This makes the system able to play anything that has a 3.5 plug in.And use a smaller more powerful battery packs{i use two 12v 6 amp rechargeable packs in series for long and good power source.

hey I need your help......Why cant I connect it to the 12v light wires that are on the controller? I hope you see this message. Thank you
@JohnnyNerdOut3 жыл бұрын
IF your light wires are 12v you can. Most are 6v. Also it might not put out enough watts (200w)
@dfonz7023 жыл бұрын
@@JohnnyNerdOut The manufacturer says the wires coming off the controller are 48v so is that the input to the step down transformer? then the out put red and black would go to to power wires of the stereo right?
@dfonz7023 жыл бұрын
Ty man I figured it out and now I see why u bought the transformer....ty for the info bro

tTo much power drain,better to have nothing but the bike motor on the bike battery for max run times.

Will it work on Ariel rider x class 52v?

What did you do with it ignition wire? Just ordered one for my electric scooter and don't want constant drain
@JohnnyNerdOut4 жыл бұрын
Can't remember off hand, but my battery has an on/off switch. As long as the battery is off it won't drain.

@@JohnnyNerdOut yeah I don't have the feature so I just skipped voltage regulator and hooked stereo to a 2s rc lipos battery

What about dynamo hubs? Are they any good?
@JohnnyNerdOut4 жыл бұрын
They work. But the output isn't as consistent as a the output from a battery

JohnnyNerdOut can you make a video on how to connect the battery and 12v system?

So is the goal to be as annoying as possible? Just attach a small Bluetooth speaker to your bike. 4000 times easier and removable to prevent theft. Probably sounds better too
