I'm a bike messenger and I do 50km a day, 1000km a month so I was wondering for how many years might I be able to use it if I do 12.000km a year.

Could you still convert a hub motor into a mid drive but still keep the hub motor on it, having two different motors but choosing which one to use when you're riding?

Could you do both motors on the same bike?

I got the ridstar q20 1500 Watt fat bike and it was just 1,000 dollars and already got 1400 miles on it. Had to get better tires and the tannus armour in liners for it. It's a great commute bike and gets up to 33 mph.

My new ebike came with e thirteen 36T 1x12 deore XT but find it hits a brick wall in 12th gear can't get anymore from it under your own steam so might try a bigger tooth on it oval is pointless on a mid drive

I bought an e-bike with the same interface about 9 months ago and recently it randomly stopped going full speed of 50km/h and only reaches a top speed of 24.5 km/h. What could have caused that and what can be done to repair it? I tried to reach the company but didn't have any success. They stated that I needed to reset the bike and gave me reset instructions that didn't work. I found a video on YT instructions for a reset which worked to reset the bike but the speed problem remains the same. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I like to HUB motor plenty good enough.. absolutely no problem after 5000 miles still going strong 85% of bikes have hub motors. If you break a chain or have a problem with your chain you can always throttle back with a hump drive .. mid drives are very hard on chains and gears because they have three times the amount of strain on those parts.. mid drives are for sissies

Also, im sure you aready figured this out by now but you can buy a wiring harness for that set up that will make everything plug and play.

Nice I just got an electric bike with horrible mechanical disc brakes (Duotts C29). I upgraded the brakes to shimano MT200, then bought NFOX GT267 Hydraulic Ebike brake levers with built in magnets from Ali Express and the same red 2 pin wired connection my bike has for the hub motor shut off. I simply took loosened off the pipe with the roober boot, the barb and tulip still attached, from shimano brake lever and stuffed it into the NFOX one quick like you did in your video and it is sorted for less time and money that it would have taken to glue on sensors and magnets. It would probably work for other brands too.

The thing you can learn from this video...buy a bike frame that allows for a good sized battery and not a RC car battery!

I have a Surron and a Luna X2 EMTB. I have made two bikes with bafang mid drive motors. Sold them both to get the X2 which I love. I am not a pavement princess so I am an off rid guy and the X2 is made for this. I dislike the Surron so selling it.

I am very pleased with the purchase and you’ve been great in helping me out making modifications and adding additional accessories along the way ❤however this frame has got too much flex and is really starting to annoy me and I’m afraid I’m gonna get to the point to it may snap. So my thoughts are I’m looking for a good donor Bike (m) either a heavy aluminum frame or a steel frame, ideally upright I like my Jones H-Bars, w/ disc brake set up that can use my 700c custom wheels.❤ thanks 😊. #1000watt. Just as a note to people, don't buy used Eggrider unless it comes with activation details. You still might be able to activate it but you'll have to jump hoops with the manufacturer.
