Nice! But what do you plot for the seamstress when you shrink Lining. You have no true pattern piece.
@CLO3D11 ай бұрын
This is just one way to quickly add lining and is great for many users just learning CLO. You can also always edit the pattern further to have a 1:1 pattern

Can we just do layer clone under for this? Would that be correct ?
@CLO3D Жыл бұрын
Yes. Layer clone under is a great fast way to add a Lining in CLO

I’m a beginner. I mean really A BEGINNER! I have an UNLINED zip-up hoodie made of cotton? which I’ve purchased satin lining fabric in order for it to feel nicer while wearing it. HOWEVER....I’m not a seamstress and I don’t understand this. Do I buy a pattern first in order to cut it out? I need step by step instructions. Any help?

Hello! You can make patterns in CLO or import them from other sources. They are quite easy to make even if you are not a seamstress or experienced pattern maker. We have a beginners guide series that we reccomend watching if you are brand new to CLO. The playlist link is below, we recommend watching the videos in order and following along with the practice files linked in each video description. kzbin.info/aero/PLqL8Ymi3Z68Dqra76a_j0Y_WCcD5WSq4J Best of Luck!

Can I attach a ticket on the avatar body? I want to attache a PNG picture of a scar on the body avatar

You can use the Linear Measure Tool to create a shape, then Attach to Measure with a piece of Fabric. OR you can edit the skin in Photoshop.

i want a tutorial for a complete suit with shoulder pads, haircloth, lining and everthing...that would be great!

the best way to approach this is to understand the construction process in real life, then create the patterns in CLO.

@@CLO3D I thought this was what CLO was for, to experiment without consuming materials, not the other way around

Any chance we could get the source files so we could play around with it?

where can I get this dxf pattern?? to practice this video

Sorry for the late reply. Not all lessons come with an accompanying file. Rather the technique should be applied to your own design.
